Do the paperatzi (sp?) ask before taking private photos and clips of celebrities? No. They just have to deal with the publicity.

I think as a footbag celebrity, publicity you dont want and people not asking your permission is just something you will have to deal with.

As I see it - it's not a question of if you can do it without permission or not - it's a question of should you.

Hmm, I would suggest that if its helping to expand the sport, and if putting this video out is likly to catch peoples attention and show them what footbag is then who cares if you underperform? Those who see the video as a discovery to the sport wont be able to tell, and those who can tell could just as eaisily have been at the worlds and seen the routine anyway.

If there is a really good reason to need permission to post video of someone then sure, permission should be asked, but unlike the paperatzi, footbag cameramen are not trying to video them naked in the privacy of their own home... apart from maybe hackey richard

Hey, I'm just happy to finally make video!! I kind of wish it were my semi-finals routine instead of finals, but I'll have to live with it. I look forward to receiving my copy from Eric.

I'm ok with people selling videos that feature me, without my permission, but I believe the film-maker should always ask, just in case. I do think that a free video should be sent out to all the people who appear on the video, before the video is sold! If you have the money, you should offer to pay the producer to cover the costs of production and shipping, and thank them for their contribution to the sport of footbag.

We appreciate all the producers who bring shred videos to us!!! Don't let this conversation discourage you. The growth of our sport, and the documentation of our sport, depends on you!

I would hope that footage of me, no matter how poorly I perform, would be able to inspire other girls to start freestyling!!
