Mosher's Final Countdown

Post by mosher »

OK I am serious about this.

I would really like to eventually stop smoking weed so this is my choice for step one, I am making this personal challenge a public one so that you guys can give me shit if I fuck up.

Starting Monday the first of November I am going to stop smoking weed for at least a month.

Today is Tuesday October 26th, the reason I am waitng until the start of november is because this weekend is halloween, and this weekend matt fucking cross is coming to visit. I am not going to speak on his behalf, but I have full intentions on smoking alot of weed. There is no point in starting something now if I am going to be smoking in a few days. He will leave on sunday and my weed oppression will start.

Wish me luck guys.

What better challenge than to go through halloween without smoking??

But seriously, good job. If nothing else, think about the cost. I don't know because I've never smoked (cigs or weed), but I'm sure weed has got to be more expensive than cigarettes... And if the cost is a good enough reason to give up tobacco, then it's a damn fine reason to give up marijuana.

Good luck! Your lungs will thank you in the long run.

yay! this is day 34 for me. I didn't feel any
anger, depression, anxiety, paranoia, and the shakes associated with quitting.
but it did take me three tries to get 34 days, my first try i went 2 weeks, then 5 days, then 34 :D

Keep it up tom, I'll piss you off if I find you smoking in November, too bad you didnt do it for October, cuz then you could have called it Sobre October

We won't have to because you won't fuck up.

It's never good to say "I'll quit it tomorrow/next week/etc.", but good to hear that you decided to do something (with your life).

Strangely enough I put that song on my mp3 player not even knowing what it was a few days ago and now it is playing. Where did I get this song from??

it's 5 PM and I am weed free so far today!

Thanks so much everyone for being so supportive, modified is where I consider my real friends to live.

Good choice Tom, I've been considering quitting all together lately. Don't know if it's going to happen or not though, hopefully. Anyways, I'm sure you can do it. Just have patience :)

ehhm, are you sure, you wanna quit it?
or just do a break for one month? if so, it´s the wrong decision. you shouldn´t have in head:" one month..... ahhh soooo long..." it just have to make *click* in your brain. it´s like stopping to smoke cigarettes. you just have to change your way of thinking about it. you should start thinking: "nope, that´s not good for me. i feel better without it." well, that´s the way, i´ve done it. and it works very fine. i´m cigarette-less since 3 years after smoking 5 years.

for smoking weed, i don´t have this sight. i smoked every day, but since 1 month i just smoke in the weekend. and i feel good with it.

but now on topic: Go and defeat your inner-brain-demon! Good luck.

no offence but thats a pretty stupid question. The effects of smokeing weed are obvious and our bodies are better off without it, plus with the money he would have spent on weed he will be able to spend on Footbag :D :P
Hopefully back one day.
