Yeah! whee!

I think this will be a fun experiment, it will be great to see what effect this has on my schoolwork and diligence.

Ooh, and what if my shred blows up too!

Well, today's the day Tom.
Good luck. If you have the will to dedicate so much time to footbag, then you definitely have the will to quit smoking dope for a month.

As someone who has quit many things let me make a suggestion. When you feel a craving coming on and you get all sorts of jittery, do something physical. Footbag is good, but something that really blows a lot of energy all at once is best, like sprinting down the street or running up and down a few flights of stairs. Then drink a whole glass of water.

Be powerful!

Day One

Post by mosher »

Thanks for being encouraging everyone.

I just went and put away all my weed smoking devices that normally sit splayed around me. At least I'll think about it slightly less.

I wanted to make an important destinction - I said I won't be *smoking* weed, I didn't say I won't get high.

This little destinction will help to keep me honest because it is a pain in the ass to get high any other way. I don't have enough weed to cook with right now so that's out, Also. I don't have any money to buy more weed anyways.

Sigh, how do I deal with the fact that I really like getting intoxicated?

That's my biggest fear in all of this. When I went to england and was forced to go without drugs I just became a bigtime boozer. I sure hope that doesn't *takes a sip of beer* happen.

No weed is in me yet, let's see how this goes.

haha that's too easy!! Then again you're not in England where absolutly ANYTHING whatsoever entails a quick stop in the pub for a couple of pints. It's hard stopping everysingle intoxicating substance your body is used to all in one go.

Don't touch nicotine, stay away from the grass and do your best with the beer. Oh, and keep us all up to date on how you're going.

For the record: I have not smoked a single cigarette in over 36 days.
