i believe I am a kleptomaniac.
I stole 4 rings, 2 $26 shirts, and today i stole a $45 fedora all from Von Maur.

it is hard to steal a fedora

I stole a bracelet for my girlfriend and I have taken about 13 street signs.

I've not been close to caught, and I know that I am going to get caught but I still will not stop.

"steal this book" was the best thing Ive ever read

you can't really be "close to caught". it's either caught, or lucky

you can probably be fined like in the ten thousands if you get caught.
also, you go to jail immediately, until someone pays that money.

so don't think of it as your own problem, think of it as a problem to everyone you know. which might make it easier to stop.

In all honesty I don't think you should be too worried unless you think you have a problem. If you think it's ok don't worry - if you don't think it's ok then stop (or get help to stop).

I want to steal a street sign but I never can get the damn things off! What the sercet?

Anyways, if you want to stop. Ask for help. Guys that I know always have issues with that but it's the best way to quit.....

Me and my pals have a tradition. Whenever someone moves out of town for whatever reason we find a sign with their last name on it and get it for them, then we throw a goodbye party for them and we all sign the ..sign with our signatures. Some awesome road trips have been spawned from our search for signs that have our friends' last names.

That's a pretty awsome tradition, all I would say is don't steal stop signs or anything, because that could be pretty dangerous... street signs are probably fine...

i look around in my room... a hugh portion of every thing was stolen from when i was 14 15 years old... i learned that judges HATE thifes and geting stuck in the position will ruin your hole juvinial life. So just quit doing it and think about geting cought. Yes i know its very very easy but still think about it befor doing it, un less its of real importance and your takeing it for a good couce from a major store dont steal, matter of fact u should need to steal at all no questions, but one day ur moms gonna notice all your nice new stuff and ask where u got it from, then what u say ? i forget what i told her, just fead her alot of shit. like i always did. quit it man, its not worth it.

Some people I lived with for a while stole a poster from a train station that said "Fare Evasion is Stealing" - I thought that was pretty classy.

Im pretty sure theres no seath signs near by so I dunno what my buddies will do when I move next year.. meh.. no biggie..

Jeremy that was a good sign grab, i think my buddy has one up on yours tho!

He's got a sign that has a picture of a security camera and the words "SMILE, you are being filmed on a closed circuit surveillance system."

on the topic of signs, though slightly off topic...
in the subway system of boston, they have doors that go between the cars of the train that have big signs on them that say 'No Passing Through" for years people have been crossing out or covering up the P, the T, and the first H. now thats classy
