2 free bags!!

Post by Jeremy »

Well I've ordered some ultra suede and I've been practicing stiching bags with shitty material for some time now so I think I'm getting some skills up.

When the material arrives I'm going to make 4 bags initially - one for me, one for Ryan Thomas and 2 for random people - hopefully all four of us can test them out and work out how good they are and if they need any improvements (stitching style, weight, size etc.)

If you want a free 32 panel pellet bag then send an email to beast9 at gmail dot com explaining exactly why I should choose you and not somebody else.

Of course I'm expecting the material to arrive next week and it'll probably take me at least a week after that to stich the bags so you have two weeks.

Once I've heard what people think I'll be selling bags at a yet to be decided price - but they'll definitly be cheapest for Australian's and New Zealanders (and anyone who lives in South Asia) since we don't have any 32 panel stitches at the moment as far as I know.

lol - actually what I said in my blog was:
jeremy wrote: so if you'd like a free 32 panel footbag - send me an email (not a pm because my inbox is always over 80% full ) telling me exactly why I should give you a bag and not somebody else.
But don't worry - I won't hold it against you. I was very impressed with your message actually - and Hackyrichard - who is my independant advisor ;) said I should choose you - but I'll wait until making the bags before committing. If you don't get selected I'll definitly sell you a bag at a discount rate just because I was impressed by your message so much! I'm not doing this for money but rather because 32 panel bags are definitly the best to use in my opinion and in Australia and New Zealand they are fairly expensive and nobody makes them in either country.

i went back in my sent box and looked at what you said,

"Anyway I feel very humbled and I'm going to send him one of my first good bags I make when my ultrasuede gets here to test. I'll probably send out like 3 bags for testing to people who want them - so if you'd like a free 32 panel footbag - send me an email (no a pm because my inbox is always over 80% full ) telling me exactly why I should give you a bag and not somebody else. There's plenty of time to go - I haven't even got the material yet - and my bags might suck."

i wasnt crazy, you did say no ;)

and i see u edited it :)

yeah I did - I missed the t - it was a typo - but when I wrote my reply up there ^^ I didn't realise that it would make the post read differently - well spotted - it goes to show what an important letter the letter T is and just how hard english would be without it :D

um - you have until I have finished making 4 bags - One for myself, one for Ryan Thomassssss, and the two free bags. After that I'll have a break from stitching until I get some feedback!

I've already got a number of good emails - so it's going to be tough to decide.

An important thing to remember is that I'm doing this for my benefit - not for yours - so I'll be choosing the people that are most convincing that I'll get some really good feedback from - not people who write to me and say.

Yes I will be.

The material hasn't arrived yet but I've made a short list of who's left in the running and I'll be emailing everybody right now to let them know how they're application went!

Apologies to all those who missed out. My bags will be available shortly and hopefully will be good!

Just an update. I got an email today that my material would be sent on monday 8O  :x

Apparantly they ran out of stock and their was a daughter's wedding or some crap like that. They've given me some big discounts which is cool but I've been so impatient to get the material. I guess I'll just have to keep making practice bags with shitty material :( :(

Also they keep calling me "Sally" because that's my Mum's name (on the credit card) - despite the fact that I've sent them a few emails signed "Jeremy" and my name is on the mailing address - not my Mum's. I bet they address it to her as well! :x

this is from www.ultrastyledesigns.com - who sell for some price as fields but allow you to buy material online with a credit card (while fields make you phone or fax in the details) - I'll at least make a second order with them to get my discount and if that gets fucked up as well I'm buying somewhere else!
