I think I hit bladerunner first try ever.
I had a video of it, but I don't think it's online or even on my harddrive anymore. My brother was watching me play for a bit because I was asking him for music and there was a build up and I was, like, "I'm going to hit bladerunner RIGHT NOW!" :)

EDIT: Shane -- WOW!!

I dont think i have hit a trick first time, maybe flipside mirage perhaps

I think i prefer it that way. If it takes you tonnes of trys and you are close, and then you finally hit it so smooth, it makes me feel very happy.

Yeah thats nice, but sometimes you just want to hit a new trick and without even practicing its yours.
Like these
Flip blurry whirl (had just got flip stepping that day)
Legbeater, just cuz my eggbeater was decent and i had never tried.
and...
Stepping ducking osis
trying a ripped warrior to osis bail.

Pretty sure I hit symposium assasin first try.

And I hit dlo first try when I was just starting footbag. I remember nate and I were at saturday market and he had told me about footbag 2 weeks earlier. I was hacking and trying mirages and legovers and then I hit that move. He looked over at me, held up 3 fingers, and said "That's a three!". Hehe that got me really excited about footbag. I didn't hit dlo for a while after that though, I always thought that was a weird first 3 add to hit.

the only trick I have hit first try was DLO. I came back from buskerfest bragging about hitting drifter finally, and someone said "ya well lets see DLO". and I hit it 8O i like yelled about as loud as I did for drifter except it toook like 5 seconds for me to realize I caught it and sealed it first try.

pixie clipper; i tried drifter and i sucked like a nu born baby.
my pixie set was kind to me that day and i thought to myself,
lets try a similar move with an easier beginning and bamm,
it really worked.
pixie kneebump>ducking op toe; i was pissed of that i can only duck
from toe sets, and i badly wanted to try something nu duckingwise.
When i hit it, it felt so intuitive and funny and i got a big kick out of it. :)
But being a novice, i usually still have to work hard for nu moves :?

fairy pickup the other day.

I said to my friend about how exciting footbag was that you could hit new stuff everyday and that is endlessly thrilling.

So I said to him "I have never hit.... fairy pickup" and dropped it to my toe and hit it. Whee! Footbag!

Such cheap thrills! I bet I could think up lots of 2 dex tricks I have never done and go on a new trick binge like a junky hitting jackpot.

It must have been summer 2002 or something when I was playing with Iceman and few other guys. Justin Sexton was there and when I hit a pdx barrage in the middle of a run I heard him saying "...add a duck to it...". He was actually talking to Mika but as I shredded I did'nt know that and took the advice to seal a ducking pdx barrage on my first try ever to the end of the string. Promised that day to never try it again.

Recently I hit a ducking swirl on first my attempt. Tried again, sealed again.
