Ask Chris, I suppose. You could all just split a room at the host hotel. I don't think we have a hotel confirmed yet, but everyone seemed to like the Executive Tower last year, so I believe we're leaning towards that.

Ok so I started searching for airline tickets and they are way more expensive than I thought.
Brad and Chris:
PLEASE post the dates so I and others can start looking for cheap tickets. There is no way I'll be able to afford it if I get the tickets a month before from united and I bet ALOT of people are in the same boat.
Soooooo last weekend in feb or first weekened in march?

Hey, actually, now that I think about it, I might need a favor from sombody in the Denver Crew for me to make it without hassle.
What is this favor you ask? Simple, I would need to use your number as a possible contact for my boss (in case he is crazy enough to call my bluff). You would be a "relative" and I leave how we are related, and the story of why I am seeing you, to yerself, and to the good people on modified. If anyone would call for me, lie..... thats all I would need, for now.
So, what should my cover for time off work be?

The Host Hotel is set. It will again be the Executive Tower Inn. It is within a 5 minute walking distance to the event and is only two blocks from the 16th St. Mall which has much of the downtown Denver nightlife.
The rates will be $69 per night for 1-2 people and $79 per night for 3-4 people. When you call, just tell them you are coming in for the Colorado Shred Symposium and they will give you the discount rate.
I would suggest calling as soon as possible as I got an Open Block of rooms. This means that there is not a specific number of rooms set aside, so we could have as many as 50 guaranteed at that price as long as the hotel isn't booked up. Unfortunately, it also means that we could get as few as 1 if the hotel books up and all but one person procrastinates until the week before.
The number to call is 1-800-525-6651.

Yo Aaron. Nate and I are both leaving on Friday and coming back Monday morning. You should stay the whole time with us. I'm sure we will all have different flights even though we are flying out of the same place but whatever. We should try to get at least one more person to room with us though.
Peace! This jam should be amazing

Anyone who lives East of Denver and lives near an airport that flies Jet Blue should check into their prices. Occasionally they have super deals including Buy One Get One Free. I say east because for some ridiculous reason Jet Blue doesn't fly between Denver and any of it's Western locations.
Also there is an Airfair war going on right now that could lead to inexpensive tickets.
Frontier or Southwest are usually a good bet for cheaper tickets also.
In addition I have applied for IFPA Sanctioning which will (I believe) grant discounts to those who wish to fly United. Denver is one of United's largest hubs and can often make for good deals already. I know that eveyone's probably anxious to find tickets so if you find a competitive price within 10% on a ticket I'd say to book it and not wait on the sanctioning discount because I'm pretty sure %10 is the discount through IFPA Sanctioning.
