Post Partum Footbag Depression

Post by Omen »

Last early spring I was givin a bag (Mr.) by my good frind Mile's which was given to him by Sir Allan Hagget, it was pretty much already broken in and "perfect" for kicking.

That bag served me well, it had such a long life but now its so emtpy I might as well be kicking air. It is so used and glued and worn, its ridiculous to keep kicking it and making it suffer the humiliation of not preforming to abilities of its fellow bags....

My friends complained and I felt like kicking with such an empty bag could damage my skills for any other bags, so I got a new one, I have been breaking it in and all, but I can't seem to do anything with it. I miss my old bag.

Do any kickers who have had similar experiences to this have any tips on how to get me through this difficult phase.

He is so helpless....... as am I.

Try giving him (or her, we gotta be PC these days) a nice bath in fabric softener.

It will "soften" the "fabric"!

and if that doesn't help you can always re-fill your old dead one.

Ah, so thats what fabric softener ment. I always thought it was a ploy against gullible housewives, advertised by a fluffy bear in flower filled meadows.

That works with a freedom bag? I was always afraid to get mine wet.

Mosher though, thats a tight name. However, every time I read it, I read Mouser, a friend of mine who has that last name. I wish I had a cool last name like those, I am stuck with Schlobohm (pronounced Slow-bomb) and its mucho dumb.

You shouldn't have to work on breaking a sandbag in. If you're talking about a 32 panel bag, those usually take a couple weeks to break in to your preferance. if you have trouble landing moves with your sandbag, you don't need to work on the bag, you need to work on yourself. Just keep practicing with the bag you now have, it will slowly become more stallable, but don't be discouraged about it now. Just keep working on all of your moves, concentrating on better stalls.

Freedoms love to swim!

I love my last name. I feel like I won the last name lottery. I often try to think up a cooler one... like... Tom ... uhh.. see? it's just the best and I will have to accept that.
