What colour Lavers should I get?

Post by Muffinman »

I think red looks so cool, but I've always wanted grey. I am asking for Lavers for Christmas -- which colour should I get?

I voted grey because I think they can look SO good when done up nicely with some black laces and with the sole coloured in black. (is it already black? either way..) Like how Bevier has in last years Chilly Philly video.

if you're not bothered by funny looks when you walk down the street, then go with Red or Blue. I had Blue ones, they went cool with my blue shorts and white/grey shirt, it was good.
I just bought the white with Green trim ones, i think they look pretty cool and you can wear them as casual shoes without attracting undue attention (that is, until you cut the shit out of them)
I recommend white with green.

I voted for shredding in your Slovenians.

Red is definitly cool - but I'm getting a bit bored of red shoes - I've had red lavers since my first pair at the start of 2003. I think my next pair will be white with blue or green trim - and then I'll draw lots of pictures or something on them.

Johnny's right though - red ones definitly go faster!

I always thought red lavers allowed you to delay the bag better!

I want a green pair of lavers...

I also have a size 8 pair of white/green-trim Slovenian Lavers (I can't believe I wrote Slovenia apostrophe "S") that alternate between my brother playing about 3 times a month and my girlfriend who just loves wearing them (she likes to play also, but plays in barefeet). Marq gave them to me -- they are also indestructible and are older than mine!!!!! :)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm pretty sure I will get red, but I really am torn, moreso after Tom's post, between red and grey. Thanks for the links, too, Rory -- but I had seen pink womens mesh before somewhere. They looked just like mens red lavers but instead of red, pink. I also saw eggshell which was pretty cool too.

I voted red, because I play much better in my Red Lavers than in my
Navy Blue Lavers with yellow couloured sole. It's probably because
most of my bags are dark, and I just happen to see the bag better
with brighter Lavers.

Someone posted a link to, like, TONS of different coloured mesh lavers, maybe a year or two ago. I don't even know how to look up that sort of thing. I've tried.

EDIT: I found a womens MESH pink trim... Still no pink mesh, though :(
http://www.zappos.com/n/p?dp=1756517&c=12325 I don't know if they would have my size in womens, anyway. I think a mens 12 would be, like, womens 14 -- not many women have feet that big...

Can anyone tell if these are actually mesh? It says canvas, but it looks thicker...

Could someone please explain to me the difference between mesh and canvas lavers. I bought my lavers off a footbag site, so I think there mesh, but I've never seen canvas ones...
