Horray!! And then when your house catches fire and you're trapped inside - the Fire Brigade won't be able to find the fire hydrant and you'll burn to death!! Fun for the whole Family!!
hee hee hee...ding ding ding...here comes the FIRE BRIGADE!! *cough* sorry. i guess thats why people call americans rude...oh well, its still kinda funny
I don't have them where I live; people just dig them out. Since, I live by a school everytime it snows the kids dig them out. I think they call it 'life skills' or some crap like that.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help. Get Firefox!
they have those here but there red and white and much skinnyer they are fiberglass, once i broke on at my bus stop and the splinters went all in to me it was a mess.
We don't have them in my neighbourhood. I have seen those pole things around and wondered what they are for, but I don't think I've seen them on fire hydrants.
It snowed a LOT in Brantford yesterday, that place always get's dumped on.... Wasn't too bad by the time I got back into Hamilton tho, the roads were pretty dry...
HA!!! all the snow was for nothing in brantford.....it melted through the night. but yeah it did fall for most of the afternoon.
oh and those are few and far between in brantford. I think they only put them on ones they have had trouble finding before....some kind of hit and miss sytem I guess. I know my gf is from snow belt country (above london) and it is mandatory to keep fire hydrants clear if they are on your property...
