If you are coming to the festival and not competing in the competition you need to buy your tickets to the public show soon! They are honestly going fast and if you want to ensure that you go buy them now!

The show is going to be off the hook!

Perhaps you could give us a little more info about tickets, ie what to type in or what to look under when browsing. I can't find it.

Ugh, I'm sorry to say, I'm sick with this flu. Will this stop me from coming? Nope. Stop me from competing...maybe. I'll be working hard to fight this all week. Ok, now back to bed.

Lately I've been getting a lot of questions about the Festival. That's great! I just wanted to say that if there's anybody out there who has any questions about the Festival please shoot me an email, pm me or ask them here. There are will be a lot of players who are experiencing their first tournament so feel free to ask questions even if you think they might be stupid, I'm just stoked you're coming!!

See ya'll on Friday!!!!!

SJFF was awesome! I can't even convey. Pete's juggling/footbag act was of course, off the hook. All the extra acts in the Big Show were great! Steve the Pretty Good, who was fucking awesome! (He pulled a rabbit out of nowhere!) The Checkerboard Guy was hillarious. I had the Thumb/Finger excersise down from last year. He even pointed me out. (If you didn't go to this or last year's show, then you just won't understand).
Lon won Shred 30 and Big 3 with Jim taking 2nd on both. For shred 30, Jim had more contacts with 2 3s & 4 5s. Lon had less contacs (non by many) with 1 3 and 5 5s. So it was ridicoulously close. Jim hit Blurry Whirl>Blurry Whirl> PS Whirl and (Insert some cool 5 here)>Spinning Whirl>Scorpian's Tail. I think it was Blurriest or Blurry Whirl or someting, sorry I forgot. And Lon hit Blurriest>SuperFly>SuperFly! They only had 3 tries at Big 3. Sorry I couldn't film that but they wouldn't let any cameras in for the Big Show. :( . They had semifinals Shred 30 which I got though, which went pretty similar. Intermediate Big 3 was won by a Missoula Footbag Alliance member, Kevin Crowley with Toe Blur>Smear>Leggy Leg Beater. He also got 3rd in Shred 30. It was his first tourney. Go Montana! There were some awesome up and coming Intermediate players there! Nick, who almost hit Blur>Pix Whirl>Barroque. And James from Spokane has mad natural talent. I competed in Open for the first time. I got to go against Jim Penkse for Rippin' Run. That was fun, although I know I could of done better than I did. Jim would of won no matter what though. Of course.... Oh, so much cool stuff went on. The MT crew got there late Weds night, so we had a jam packed crazy time. Alex Zerbe is the man! Pete Irish is also the man. Justin Dale is also one of the many The Mans. He was injured so he played very little and spent a lot of time coaching people. (Not that coach, but he did help there!). He helped out SO many intermediates. Ricky is rippin it up for being injured. He says he's taking a break after this, but we'll see. I hope he can enjoy this sport for a long time. I know that's one thing I enjoy... Being able to just play. Injury sucks... Be carefull everybody, and stretch a lot. Kevin Richie is the man also. His parents house is awesome. So is this dad's office :D ... I know I'm going to forget many people on this whole the man thing. So sorry for any body who got left out of being called the man by me. Nasty Nate is the man, for many reasons, on top of winning Rippin Run!!!
Juan, Lauren, Sunil, Carol...you were missed. Hope you make it next time.
Well, off to class....................

Seattle ruled. Evan hit pendulus swirl. Peter hit stepping-ducking-inspining mirage. Those were the last two moves I saw, the rest is blured. Rippin Run was fun, left me feeling good. Can't wait to develope my pictures.

This was my first tournament and I couldn't have asked for one that is more fun. I had such a blast kicking until my legs were destroyed each day and meeting all sorts of rad people. Thanks to justin for giving me advise and to all the sick stuff going on around me. Some of the craziest things were spokane james' frantic butter, jim, lon, and peter's epic runs, nate winning rippin' run, hanging out at Kevin's place, tons of pigs, and all the cool assed people I met from everywhere around the northwest and then some. i can't wait till next year. Peace
