Ok so I had some money laying around, so then I'm like why don't i get a PS2. Now this is the moeny I was going to spend on a dv camera, but my parents don't want to chip in for the camera anymore.
So I got a PS2, a memory card, and San Andreas. Now do I want to keep it?
The plus side to keeping it is GT4 coming out in not to long.
But if I do return it, I can try getting the camera again.
I had an urge to spend some money.

PS2 has the same machine parts and speed as a sega dreamcast... PS2 fucking sucks
Here are the specs on it
333 mhz processor (wtf thats slow as hell!)
32 mb of RAM (horrible)
32 mb video memory (my 1998 computer has more than that)
Those are the exact same specs as a sega dreamcast, about 2 years older than ps2
XBOX has twice as much in all of those categories, and it has halo 2 and better graphics..
And ps2's break all the time, everything i own of ps2 has either broken or in the process of breaking
so in conclusion:
PS2 sucks and it is not built well, and none of its accessories are either, damn you SONY.
So buy a digital video camera and some footbags!

.Seriously footbag is way more entertaining to me than video games. The only game I play these days is N and I only play that when I can't play footbag and am waiting for a download or something.
Yea, I'm keeping the PS2, and still gonna attempt to get the camera. I have 350 dollars towards it, my mom is putting in 100, and my sister is putting in 100. So that comes out to 550. Which is perfect, because the camera that I want costs a little over 500. The only bad thing here is that I won't have enough for a Wide-Angle Lens, but I guess that will have to wait. I guess I'll be able to live without it for a while.
Now to answer Toms statement. I just got 2 pairs of lavers in September, and bags, I son't think I really need multiple bags at once, expecially at the level of play that I am at. As long as I have one 32 and one sandbag in my possesion, I'm fine.

i hate microsoft, but yea they have a better product.
i may have been wrong about the card, but if it is 128 mb, than xbox has 256 mb, and that does sound more correct.
Overall Xbox is a better product, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.. I know where most people are coming from, i hate to give more money to microsoft, but if i want a good product i will go to them when it comes to console gaming
