Voting for yourself?
Just wondering what the forum's thought on are voting for yourself.
Is this something that you should only do if you actually think your combo is the best?
Should everyone vote for their own video and leave it up to modified to decide the winner?
Discuss whether or not it is right to vote for your video even if you don't think it's the best.

I think everyone should either vote for themselves, which leaves it virtually the same as 0 votes, or everyone votes for another sick 3, other than their own, which they think is the sickest which makes the winner who ever has the most votes for sickness the sickest, or something like that

I`m going to vote for the best combo, regardless of whose it is. How hard is that?
On the extremely off chance that I think my combo and my opponent`s combos are exactly equal, I won`t vote. But considering how well I know my own game, I am most likely to be more impressed by an opponent`s combo than my own, so in most cases I would probably vote for my opponent if the combos are (technically) close.

I'll vote for the best combo - regardless of who hits it. I think if it was really close between my combo and someone elses - I'd probably go on who I thought found their combo the hardest - Like if I could hit my combo every attempt and I thought the other person had really played above their standard to hit their combo - I'd vote for them. If I really couldn't decide which is better I don't know what I'd do - but I don't think that would ever happen (I am good at making opinions
)
Yes, IF everybody did that, it would be silly. But many people wouldn`t do that.Shredster wrote:I think it silly to vote for yourself, because if everyone did that, we'd all be starting off at 1 vote (like shredj said).
Did anybody else think that the 2nd and 3rd options of this poll are confusingly similar? Seriously, what`s the difference between them?
Now that the first round is done, maybe we could set up a poll and see how many people did vote for themselves.
I still stand by my previous position: I will vote for the best combo, no matter what. If it happens to be mine, I`ll vote for myself. If I hit arch nemesis-pdx torque-spanish fly, and the next best combo anybody hits is blurry whirl-ducking butterfly-pdlo, there`s no way I`d vote for the second combo.
I guess I'm stupid
It's so hard to answer this question with out fear that you'll piss people off.
I think it's best to vote for the combo you think is best or don't vote at all. If you make a rule like "I will always vote for myself" or "I will never vote for myself" - then you are voting on different combos then everybody else and your vote shouldn't count.
