What are your top 5 favorite Simpsons episodes?

Post by C-Fan »

If you don`t know the epsiode name, just give a synopsis. Even if you do know the episode name, a synopsis is also good.

I also think it would be fun if at the end of each post, you post a funny Simpsons quote, and the next person says whose quote it is.

`I don`t get it, everybody likes rats. But nobody wants to drink the rats` milk.`

Oh man, it's the mob boss isn't it?? I forget his name :(

EDIT: As for my favorite episodes, I'd have to say, in no particular order...

1) The one where you see Lisa, Homer and Bart's day
2) Krusty finds out he has a daughter

I honestly can't remember them all. I'll have to edit this again when I can think straight :?

Edit 2: I thought of some more :D

3) Where Mod dies and Homer makes a dating video for Ned
4) The Simpsons are going to Brazil
5) When Lisa chooses Ralph to be her valentine

And some of my favorite quotes, NAME THEM:

"But did you really need to salt the ground so nothing would ever grow there again?"

"Hello, I'm calling from *click*... Oh my God... She hung up on me!! Why would she do such a thing?!?!"

"Pink and purple... Our money is gay."

"Smithers, there's a rocket in my pocket."
"You don't have to tell me twice sir."

"Oh the Germans are angry! Oh the Germans!!"

"Work is for losers."
"Boy, I'm proud of you! I was twice your age when I fiured that out!"

Oh mercy. I probably didn't even quote them right but you get the picture :P

The Halloween episode where I think...dolphins(?) take over springfield.

Homer from that episode while sitting on a couch in the ocean: "Well, I guess they just wanted it more than us."

Tough to select 5 favourites among 300+ episodes.

I guess 'Homer in New York' and 'Burns verkaufen der Kraftwerk' would
be in it (mmmh..the land of chocolate...)

Here's the quote:

"I've tried hecklin' them, I've tried jecklin' them - it's time I get myself
a scarecrow!"

edit: Something I've always wanted to say. Ken, you have the most awesome avatar ever! Do you have a bigger image of him?

The Australian episode is pretty hilarious. Maybe it's funnier for Australians - I'm not sure.

I also really like the trillion $$ bill/cuba episode.

We should get Dyalan onto this topic!! (Aussie footbagger - hardcore simpsons geek! ;) )

My favourite episode was Mr. Sparkle!

MR. SPARKLE:
I'm disrespectful to dirt! Can you see I
am serious?

Mr. Sparkle hovers over her dirty dishes, releasing sparkles over them. The dishes' grime disappears. Mr. Sparkle floats to the living room, where he bounces over a baby's xylophone. He then appears underwater, where three women are dancing.

MR. SPARKLE:
Get out of my way, all of you! This is no
place for loafers. Join me or die. Can you do any less?

The women stop dancing.

THE WOMEN:
What a brave corporate logo! I
accept the challenge of "Mr. Sparkle."

WOMAN I:
Awsoma power!

Mr. Sparkle blows magic dust over the girls as a graphic of a drumming monkey toy hovers in the upper left of the screen. The dust turns the girls into blue Sumos. The scene changes to a reporter interviewing a two-headed cow.

REPORTER:
Any plans for the summer?

Mr. Sparkle appears and shatters the cow. It's disembodied eyes blink at him. The scene changes to Mr. Sparkle coming at us from an orange background.

MR. SPARKLE:
For lucky best wash, use Mr. Sparkle!

Simpsons is such a great topic! I downloaded like 260 episodes from Kazza, but I don't have the latest ones
Anyway, it's to hard to pick my most favorite episode so I just name 5 I really dig in no particular order.

The one were Homer smokes weed!

The Simpsons in Brazil

The one Halloween episode where Billy the Kid and the other guys are reawakened from grave.

The one where Krusty runs for congress

The strong arms of Ma (the beginning is so hillarious, I pissed my self laughing! Homer uses his "Tetris" experience to load the car with stuff)

SIMPSONS FOREVER

btw. ther is a Simpsons clipshow episode where they sing a song at the end that goes like this:

"We never stop the Simpsons, have no fear we have stories for years. Like Marge becomes a robot..."

One of my favorite eppisodes starts out at the old folks home, when Abe wins a talent quest (only because he's the last one on stage). The prize is a voucher at a funeral home.
Anyway, the guy says that there's enough concrete in this tombstone for a full size tennis court and - BANG - The Simpsons get a tennis court.

I also love the cadava cam.

The hallowen epp with 'The Ravin'. - Very cool.

I dunno, there are so many. I often have Simpsons trivia with a guy I work with. You name it, we've pretty much covered it.

Some of my favorite quotes are from Ralf (one of my favorite characters).
"My cat's breath smells like cat food"
"Miss Hoover! My worm crawled into my mouth and I ate it"
"Arf Arf"
"...and that's where I saw the leprachaun that told me to burn things"
Comment in the BCS blog if you feel the need to.

Homer is with Rod and Todd at the movies, and theyre in a horror movie. Rod starts to cry, and in a soothing voice Homer says,

"It's not real.....Stupid."

its hilarious. it sounds like hes going to comfort him

Favorite Episode:
The one where Homer becomes a pro-boxer due to the extra padding around his brain...and he just stands there letting the other guy tire himself out.

Favorite quote:
"But Aquaman, you cannot marry a woman without gills! You're from two different worlds! ...missile approaches... Ohhh, I've wasted my life."

Orrrr....

"Unshrink you?! Well, that would require some sort of a RE-bigulator, which is a concept so ridiculous, it makes me want to laugh out loud and chortle, hmm-hey—ahh, but not at you, O holiest of gods, with the wrathfulness and vengeance and the blood reign and the hey hey hey it hurts me."

...and a sound. :)
