Thanks guys!
Actually I don't seem to be recovering at all. I am going to do hardcore weight exercises for a month and see what's up on december 3rd with my athletic therapist. If I'm still not improving I get xrays to see what the hell is wrong with me.

I discovered that reverse whirls don't hurt very much -- I didn't do too many though and I don't hurt today so I'm going to go play some more now. I will try to play harder to the point where I know how hard I can play without hurting myself and keep that up because playing will also help rehabilitate as it will strengthen the muscles....right?................

Anyway that seems to be what my athletic therapist thinks but I don't know -- I'm starting to get the feeling that he doesn't really know what he's doing. That would suck, seeing as this costs a lot.

Maybe I will maake another video tonight -- I may even finally hit those combos in my challenge thread! (...)

Really fun video, Eric. It's great to see you playing again. You should really work on cleaning up your ducks though.

Our demo is going really well so far. What I mean by that is I'm having a lot of fun :p We actually didn't have too much of an audience the two shows I was there for -- I left early because I have soo much school work to do. I'm missing out on free dinner and drinks after, too.

Basically we have a booth at this big snowboard show/sale at the convention centre. We have a TV and we play videos. We shred in front of the booth. We have footbags for sale and we have tshirts (all 5 of us wore different Hackrifice tshirts). We do demos every 1.5 hours or so for about 10 minutes. We have music playing for us and Joel has a microphone and explaions stuff and everything. It's really neat. Tonight it was Joel, Scott, Andrew, Derek and myself. Josh should be coming tomorrow and Mark has fallen off the edge of the Earth (again).

Andrew is BUSTING. His stepping ducking is sooo consistant. He was super close to alpine food processor a bunch. He was also SUPER close to blurry whirling swirl when I left. I brought my camera and filmed BRIEFLY. He hit fog > phoenix > fog while I was filming. He hit locomotion and food processor for the demo.
Derek had a run with blurry torque > mullet and food processor. He was also hitting janiwalker beesauce like nothing. Oh yeah and Derek hit montage for the demo and rolled off gauntlet a couple times. I think Andrew may have hit backside spikehammer, too...

I hit some stuff that I probably shouldn't've hit. I hit alpine legbeater a few times and almost ripped warrior same run. I hit ripped warrior > ps whirl. Some other things. I hurt a lot, but the sad part is that it's not even from playing, really. I played too hard, but I have been having pain just sitting lately -- I have to get up and jog or exercise for my muscles to calm down. Bleh. Anyway -- I have 20+ paintings to finish off this weekend, an essay to finish, a drawing project to start (and a few past projects to whip up) and a history project to research for. BUUSSSYYYY. The guys are still busting right now. I think they are about 3 minutes into the third demo and there is onemore tonight -- then early tomorrow again, but I will miss the first few and catch the last couple, since I will be up late working on this crap (that I hope to start soon.......)

hey Erik, did you ever DJ at birthday party? I ran in to a muscular black man at shoe outlet, and i had the whole footbag not hackysac talk, told him about the websites for brantford, Ontario, and winnipeg. Apparently he lived in winnipeg until a month ago and thought he knew guys that were crazy hacky players. I dropped your name and he thought he recognized you for footbag and being DJ a some party once....just curious if we had the same person in mind?????

yeah the dj guy used to be at the froks all the time where we shred. he would sit there and watch for hours and come up and say "you guys just blew my mind... again. are you gonna be here tomorrow?"

any way, erik right after you left scott did as well, so it was just derek and i for the last ones. and they were by far the most hard core! we did a simulated 30 second shred, and derek and i both busted pretty well. the hard come part cam at teh end in the sick 1. derek, first try> mullet, second try> montage, 3rd try> gauntlet, 4th try> dropped goliath, 5th try > goliath. we had sais thanks and were about to leave but the skate team were chaniting for more shred and more sick 1's. it was awesome.

josh and scott were there for the last 2 demos and we skipped the first one because there really wasn't an audience. i was really happy with the last sick 1 since i was so tired. first try> blurry whirl, second try> whirly gig, 3rd try> locomotion> 4th try> food processor, fifth try> mullet. it was sweet!

all in all it was alot of fun, and we made some good money which we will likly be putting up as prize money for our comp next year.

I'm sorry I missed today. I was up until 6 painting and woke up at 2 and started painting until now (1:16am) and I am so glad I decided not to go today. I know I should have called or something but at the last moment I decided that there is no way I was going to finish 30 paintings without skipping today. I still have 6 left and an essay to finish tomorrow and a history project and a drawing project. I can't believe how sick of painting I am right now. I am going to stretch and go to bed. I have been looking forward to sleep all night.

You guys are awesome. I can't wait to shred again (I hope I heal soon...)

Mr. Story Changer. I don't know if this guy has any credibility in my books any more with his shifty stories.

Erik, it is seriously mind boggling for me to imagine having to tackle the task of slashing and slaying 30 paintings in such a short time. Heck, i don't think in all of my painting career have I painted 30 paintings. Maybe.. 28.

I hope you survive!

Oh, and pleeaase do all the excercise things that make you feel good. :)

I actually skimped out on my exercises last night. I did 1 set instead of 3 with my weights. That's the first (and hopefully last) time before my next appointment.

When I said 20+ paintings I was counting the amount of board I had left to paint. I had 21 blank boards I had to fill. I had already finished a few of the thirty in class and on Thursday and I still have a few pieces of board to cut tomorrow in class to finish off the last couple. I have exactly 30 pieces in total -- and these thirty are a THIRD of the project due at Christmas. I have another two 4'x4' paintings to do, also...
I'm taking a break to whip up some drawing projects and finish off my essay now.

I'd love to see your paintings some time, Tom! Mine are pretty crappy because they are for school, but my last project was pretty neat -- I did a series of three 2'x3' portraits of Marita. One of them turned out pretty good and I have it on my wall now. Her eye is a bit crooked because my professor scolded me for drawing and painting over the drawing. Blech. I have never painted, really, before, nevermind painted freehand without guides (I am a drawer!)

I got a really nice PM from somebody when I opened the forum just a bit ago and it made me start watching old videos of myself. I was watching "muffinmaninmay" and realized something neat. The hand holding the ladybug is Marita's. This video was made before we were going out and I dedicated it to her. I thought it was nice watching it and remembering one of our best memories and from a long time ago, too :)

I played too much today. But I filmed and I will make a video later on. I skooled blenders for about 5 minutes and BAM -- I basically have them, now! They need more work, but I can certainly hit them!!!!!! I can't believe how easy that was. I hit spinning ducking clipper > blender [beesauce] (kind of rolled off on the last blender). I also did toe spinning: toe gyro mirage beesauce. It's not new -- I used to toe spin a lot more. I think I've hit toe spinning mirage and toe gyro mirage beesauce same run and I've been close to the drill (toe gyro > toe spinning [repeat]) many moons ago. I was in a super slump for a while where I couldn't get past 10 contacts, but today was rad. Anyway -- I'll whip up the video later. I'm stretching and then I'm off to play Dungeons and Dragons @______@

I made a dragonian rogue for a new campaign my friend started. I am soooo tough! I was pretty disappointed when he told me I can't actually fly though -- only glide :(

Wow -- thanks guys!! I love when I get replies to my footblog and especially videos. Nobody mentioned the blenders, though! I was sooooo excited!!!! The first string was on, like, my second try -- after JUST learning blenders 5 minutes prior!!!! CAN YOU DIG IT???? I can't WAIT to hit pdx blenders! (Definately one of my fav moves!!)
Thanks for the duck compliment, Andrew! Somebody wrote a comment on my ducking a while back saying it was the or something and I wasn't sure how to interpret that.
Yeah -- we are the toe spinnig posse, you guys!!! Let's bust!! We should challenge each other to hit toe spinning moves. I remember hitting toe spinning whirl a few years ago after just a few tries after seeing Ryan bust it on Whirled Shred (I think it was Whirled). Not enough toe spinning. Toebius is a SWEET move name! I think I will go for that next video :)

Anyway, thanks again! It makes me really excited and want to play more! I can't get ENOUGH of footbag -- Tom's latest video is definately to blame for that!!!

Can't wait to play with Andrew tomorrow!!!!
