Abshire Operation

Alright, well I got this mini abshire sometime back in May of 2004 I think. If not, it was sometime around there. Anyways, the material broke in nicely but I found that the bag was rolley and didn't stall well. It was too full, but I never did anything about it. Just the other day I had the idea of taking some filler out ( what a bright idea, why didn't I think of that sooner?). Anyways, this is how much I took out, and it plays alot better now. I'm still probably going to take out a little bit more in a day or two. There really isn't any usefull information in this post, but I thought that someone MIGHT find it interesting.

Edit: Incase you are wondering, my lamp light burnt out the other day so I had to use a lighter to provide sufficient lighting.

But seriously if you take out to much it will screw with the bags balance, and cause more role off.

Trust me, this bag was FULL before the "operation" (saying that makes me feel so professional). I actually just took out a few more pinches and it's perfect. Thanks for the tip though!

how did you take the beads out

Some stitchers leave spaces between the hexagon (base) panels. You'll notice that those aren't even stitched together. So you can cut a straw on an angle at the end, so it has a tip to it, and insert it in between those panels and drain out some of the fill. I learnt this trick from Zeke in a thread a long while back.
