I grew up with the origional 3. We all used to joke about the fact that it started at Ep. 4.
I was let down by the first two eppisodes (that is, Ep 1 & 2), but I'll still see the thrid. It's an institution. It tells a story, and now we can see exactely how Vader became who he was.
I guess it also takes the focus off Luke (who I was never that fond of - he was a bit of a winging bitch in 4), which is good, and puts the focus more on Darth Vader.
It'll be a good thing to watch the whole 6 (again), just to fully take in Vaders importance, and life, and see the series in a whole new context.
The thing to remember is that, ok, so the movie making technology has changed over all this time, but it's still the same story.
Anyway, sorry for going on, and thanks for the link to the preview.

hahaha, so if you don't watch star wars, you're a weirdo, but if you watch a lot of it and get into it, you're a weirdo then, too.crazydwarf wrote:i never seen a star wars in my life.what a wierdo...
the presence of star wars in your life is some kind of social indicator. hahaha. I guess that's kinda true.
seems the only normal thing is to watch it and then be disappointed, which is right about where I fall. I'm probably going to go see this, but not until it's part of a double feature at the cheap-ass $3 theatre down the street. I love that place, too bad I missed Napoleon Dynamite last night. maybe tonight...
BRICK!
