Hackrifice demo

Post by Muffinman »

This is a minute and a half of the 7 minutes I taped at the demo we did last weekend. It would have been neat to film a lot and to have actually attended the second day and got people to say stuff to the camera -- ah well. Let me just say that Andrew Grant is a MACHINE. He ducked his stepping set, like, every time he tried. Both sides. So bloody impressive. I saw blurry whirling swirl soooo close! Derek never plays :( But he had some rad runs, too. He hit blurry torque > mullet and food processor same run (I think it was)...unfortunately none of these cool things I'm mentioning are actually in this short clip.........You can beat me up later!

Yeah, more footage would have been good, but still a cool clip. And it was also cool to hear Aces High in the background.

I agree -- I can't stop watching! The first thing I said to Derek when I walked over and started shredding with him was, "Have you played with Andrew recently?? He's SO bloody good!!" I really liked seeing you stepping duck and busting triples. I really want flurry beesauce and whirling swirl beesauce on tape! Have you hit flurry beesauce before? It sure looks like you must've. There was also a clip where you dropped assassin > phoenix and that was really neat - new things -- big things!
That was seriously all the footage I got, though. (Lie: I actually forgot to put one of those scary growling clips of Joel in...I even captured it..)

Cool video

I don't get it though .. That was the demo?

Where was the crowd of people watching? It just kind of seemed like Andrew and Derek were randomly shredding at the event.

No. This was between demos. For the demos we played on a stage. I only filmed for a few minutes. I didn't film the demo because I was up there playing on the stage and couldn't hold the camera on myself.
