Calling All Stitchers!!!

Post by Chris Hanratty »

I'm just wondering what amateur stitchers there are out there that have been or are ready to start selling bags. I'd love to try some bags other than abshires, carols, lonns, etc. So if you want, give me a heads up via posting here or a PM with your info.

Peace.

My friend Mario and I have been stitching bags for about 1-2 months. We only sew 4 panel crushed pannes, modeled after the freedom footbag, at the moment, due to the material we want is around $45-$60 a yard. They are $5 and they are hand sewn by us. I don't know if you meant 32 panels, oh well

I'm interested in selling 32's I'm working right now to hone my skills a bit, but I seem to have the knack for it. So once I get some better filler and some facile (with more colors), I'll hit you up with the info incase you're interested.

Thanks James, I already have two sandbags though and am not really in the market for another. But perhaps I'll get one soon anyways to help support you guys!

Johnny, sounds like a plan to me. What's up with those funky holes in one of your bags?

Oh that was just some weird material I was practicing with. You can see my latest footbag in my blog, it looks more presentable.

I've made 4 and 2 half 32 panel bags. My last two were pretty much perfect in my opinion apart from the material. As soon as my better stuff arrives I'll be selling bags. People have already made orders 8O so if you want one you should get in fast (email me - beast9 at gmail dot com). Not sure about price - depends on where you live. Also I have to make 2 free bags, a bag for myself and at least 2 bags to swap with some other new stitchers so I have a lot to do already!

Thanks Jeremy, I'll contact you soon possibly about that. I just bought a bag off of James Hermey and I'm stoked to get it.

hmm, i guess i might be ready to sell a few, i have a picture of a 32 panel in the topic "sewing help", it was my first 32 and was quite big, now i just made another and it is the size of a mr.sandman and its not broken in...

i'm not quite sure what the fabric is since i've never touched ultrasuede ( i probably have but don't know it) but it's very soft and not broken in yet.

Every Stitcher should send their info to Matt Cross, that way he can put all the info in the Sticky "stitcher contact info" topic.

I was thinking the same thing. If you want to promote yourself and be availiable to contact, definately PM Matt Cross your details.
