 I'd say that if the move is frontside it's "Symp Atomic Torque" and if it's backside then it's "Atomic Symp Torque".
Atomic Torque is Silo, isn't it? Then Johnny's trick woulld be Frontside Silo, and other way Backside Silo.

Yeh Anssi's explanation makes sense... i knew what Johnny was saying but i couldnt think of it in a more unequivocal way to write down

Whoa Lepistö!!
I didn't knew you can do furious. Props on Janiwalker b2b! I've been trying that too... I think that you're the second Finnish player to hit that?

If atomic torque had a common name, say... atomitorque... then symp atomitorque would be confusing. However, I don't think that there's any confusion in the way Johnny described his move.

Seems to me that the whole frontside / backside and alpha / beta naming styles came about because of moves like smear, atom smasher, blur, blizzard, and all that jazz, where it's not possible to put the 'symp' next to the corrosponding component.

After reading this, I realized that Johnny`s description wasn`t confusing, I was just confused. In any case, props on the move, that`s real cool. Has anybody hit backside silo? That sounds like it would be even harder. I remember last year in NZ being real impressed by Adrian`s flailing drifter, mostly because he never plants the setting foot.

Oh and Mikko: awesome stuff! Have you tried doing rubberman with fusion instead of legbeater?

I think I could hit frontside and backside (not in the same move!), I'll try both tomorrow - I haven't tried either, but can front and backside atomsmasher fine, and have hit fairy symp torque a few times (and fairy spining... but that's not paradoxy). But I should save my bragging till I actually hit it :p

As for new runs, I hit the fog bsos in a nice run, pdx blender > pdx torque to start a good run, and whirling swirl > pdx whirl (repeat) > ripwalk :)

- Blur > Atomsmasher > Alpine Legbeater [repeat] > run with Blurry Whirl bs, Paradox Torque bs, and another 5 or so shuffle contacts.

I've said it before, but I want Alpine Rubberman.
