I'll start.
1) Continue to practice your consecutive toe stalls until you can it 15 or so without a drop no problem.
2) find a video moves list online. Flipsider.com, footbag.org, hackrifice.com, footbag.cz are 4 sites that have all of the basic tricks on video (for your comp i mean)
3) begin to learn the terminology for footbag as you watch the 2-add moves. 2-adds are 1 step above all 1 add tricks. 2 adds involve 1 leg movement around the bag and 1 stall, hence 2 total "adds."
4) start to practice the leg movements for a couple easier 2 add moves: legover, around the world (ATW for short), and pixie are some good ones to start with.
5) practice those movements with and without the bag sooooo many times until you are sick of them. You'll start to hit them in about a week or two.
6) consult the trick tips section here. it had some interesting advice.

I'll also help.
1.) Definately get 10-20 consecutive kicks w/ ur right leg, then with left
2.) Order a mr.sandman from monsterhack (very nice)
3.) get some Adidas Rod Laver tennis shoes (choice footwear)
4.) Get some Dr.Schole's gel pads in your Adidas Rod Laver tennis shoes
5.) Get used to the main stalls, outside, toe, inside, clipper w/ both sides (Maybe do this before spending money on shoes/footbags)
6.) Move to some dex moves like ATW or mirage

I happened to check ou thte bag you ordered online. What is most important is the material the bag is made of and the diameter of the bag. Yours will be made of "killasuede" and will be 3 inches in diameter.
Both are NOT optimal for freestyle (what is optimal is "facile" and approx 2-2.5 inches in diam.) but they WILL DO since you are just starting out.
If you had not yet ought a bag, I too would have advised you to buy a Mr. Sandman b/c its cheap (5-7 bucks) and stalls well the first time you play with it. However, play with sand bags for several years often leads to bad habits and the inability to play well with non-sand filled bags. That is your warning.
**IIMPORTANT**
If you begin to raise your level of play and you feel that you will continue to play this game for a while (i.e., years) you really MUST invest in a hand sewn 32-panel bag from Richard Abshire or another qualified stitcher. These hand-stitched bags will be filled with pellets rather than sand but will "sit" just as well. they are also made from the best materlai that we know of for footbags right now.
k, thats it

Here is a tip I give to the newbies in my club.
Whenever you are trying to learn a new trick figure out which side of your body finds it harder and HIT THAT ONE FIRST!
It will seems pointless and overly hard sometimes but it will force you to be both sided. One-sidedness is the grossest thing EVER.
