pretty good game. Im up to the last mission but I cant finish it.

Jumping fences/walls is good
huge map good
no loading time except going into buildings (Yay no annoying welcome to...screens)
More planes + fly better
fighting styles to learn are good

Could be just my ps2 but frame rate drops sometimes, get error reading disc messages and freezes for quite a bit. Was ok at first but now get these problems heaps.

I'm not sure what you mean Mark. It's a GTA game, so I'm going to guess that it plays a lot like Vice City, but that said, I enjoyed Vice City a lot.

I haven't had a chance to play San Andreas yet, I hope to soon.

Not to be a dickhead or anything, but what's the rating on the game? Dildos, killings and crime... for a 6yo?
Comment in the BCS blog if you feel the need to.

Nothing personal of course Casey.

Same thing happened to my GTA 3 game. Now it's permanently like that. I can play the game up until I get in a car or go into a building or something, then it freezes.

I would love to get San Andreas but I know I don't have enough time anymore to sit down and finish the game (I always have to beat every game I have 100%, and find out every secret, etc. or else I'm not satisfied and can't sleep at night).

Yeah, I forgot to mention the cheat code part. That's what messed mine up.

Theres so many things to find and do it will take ages to get 100% even though some hardcore ppl have already achieved that. Theres heaps of mini games and side missions and stuff it will take me along time to get 100%

Yeah theres bmx and mountain bikes. The bmx has the pegs on them but u cant do any tricks. You can do wheelies, stoppies and bunny hops (jumping high - possible to get really high)

Oh yeah I dont use cheats so thats not whats wrong with my game/ps2

the bmx/bicycle feature on the new GTA is so sick! I can outrun the police so easy with a bike.

Also this game features a stats builder. Like, the longer you run around, the faster you will get, the more you drive, the better you can control the car, and so on.

Also swimming is another really cool addon from past GTAs. This game is really so much better than the past ones. Barbers, Tattoos, Cluckin Bell, Chop shops, demolition derby, flight school, you really have to play it to see for yourself

yea, i dont think its cheats. 3 of my friends have gotten really far in it with cheats with no problems. could just be a defect. when your moving millions of copies of a game your bound to have some problems right?

my little brother is mature enough to know that the stuff in the game is bad, all he does is drive the cars around and punch people, although it may sound bad, it really isnt.

The data on a DVD media is approxiamtely 120Kilobytes/square millimeter, it really doesn't take much to disrupt a critical piece of code and cause bugs in a game. This is less of PS2 problem than it is of a problem with using high density storage media in environments where they are likely to get damaged. While a fingerprint might cause a DVD from blockbuster to skip, a fingerprint on a PS2 game might cause data corruption and inconsistent game play.
