1) abshire contact info is in the stitcher contact info thread in the Bags&Equipement forum
2) go check out www.flipsider.com for all the basic naming stuff like dexterity and pixie and such. Other good resources are www.hoodshouse.com and www.hackrifice.com
3) to catch up your shitty foot work it harder than your good foot! if you find yourself always starting a drill on one foot try starting it from the other instead. I don't want to preach but IMO being bothsided is very adventageous when learning the building block tricks like mirage and legover and clipper.
4) your leg speed will increase as the muscles build. Logically you probably don't have the muscles required to whip your leg in a circle - why would you? so with time they will grow and get stronger and correspondingly your legs will move faster!

Hope this helps.

for ATWs, find a device around your house that is similar in shape to a pole, an orange cone like you'd find at a road construction side, etc. and stand it upright. Then stand on 1 leg and do "dexercise."

Start slowly, circling the pole thingy with 1 leg in-to-out about 30 times, the stop and do it with the other leg in-to-out 30 times. THen switch again and do it out-to-in 30 times, and switch legs again out-to-in.

Then do the same thing again faster. the key is to have leg movements around your object that are shaped circularly and fairly tight around the circumference of the cone. The wider your "dexes" (leg mvmts) are, the slower they will be.

Keep them relitively close to your body so its more your entire leg going around it as opposed to your ankle. Also like Tom and Senor said, just build up the muscle strength, work only on ATW's both side for like 1 hour and I guarantee you'll have it schooled.

Does everyone do there dex's like this. I always do mine kind of up and down instead of side to side... Like you circle yours horizantal, and I do mine verticle. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about, if someone knows what I mean and can explain it better that'd be great.

crazydwarf,
I know what you mean. For the speed of a dbl ATW, it is best to have a good and fast circular motion. For a single ATW, you can get away with more of an up and down style dex, but even then, it is not comsidered as clean as a horizontally circular dex.

ok thanks guys. I am pretty profiecient at ATW and can almost hit DATW going up and down style... I just tried out the more circular motion you guys are describing and that seemed to help. It felt much better doing them like that and I kind of hit DATW for the first time. :D
