Andy, who's Andy? What's he bustin'?

As for monday, I'll probably be a bit late because we'll have a Bewerberin
at 6. Too bad you're not there on monday, Max.

Daryl, how's the bag breakin' in? I'm really curious 'bout the colors.

I think mr hunter added a "y" at the end of the word "and" by
accident...out of generosity or by mistake...only god knows, but
he wont tell us... i got late word he's playing golf with his son
But iwas also a little confused reading the post since assasin was
always a 4 adder to me :? But i didnt seal it anyway, so it was more
of a "stauffenberg" then an assasin...
BTw, claire is breaking in smoovely, like a young michael jackson !

THIS MONDAY'S SHRED :
Sweet as a nut and bigger than ever !
Players: Bea, Bjoern,Mike,Phillip,Alex,a new guy also called Phillip and me
Level of shred : intense
Elements : a little bit of everything; drills, combos, records, runs, trick practice
My new bag Claire: everbodys darling ( all of the munch crew hit a new trick with it :D )

There was a lotta good stuff going, really too much to remember it all.
So i'll focus on our noob, bea and me own shite .
Phillip performed well; he's interested and enthusiastic, plus he has
some kicking experience : ideal foundation i say.
And the end of our shred he could hit his first mirages on both sides. Props :) !
Bea and me worked on ducking, and she could hit toe>duck>op toe
3 times in a row. Another Ms Hunter record : pixie legover 5 times in a row
:D Its very cool to drill with her, cause there are things that share
the same difficulty for us, plus we always push each other to new heights.
She hit her first toe double legover 8O and symposium mirage !

I had a good day myself and i could manage to break a couple of
personal records, had some decent tilitless runs and hit a new
trick too( ducking mirage ) .
Records:
32 alt. toe stalls, 14 alt. inside stalls, 9 flip mirages, toe>duck>op toe
4 times,mirage>legover8 times and mirage>smear 2 times in a row.
Trix :
Toe spins; symposium and pdx mirage are getting more and more solid;
4 butterflies and 3 ducking mirages :P
Combos :
butterfly>mirage>mirage>smear>legover>legover>pixie legover>pixie drop
magellan>legover>legover>mirage>smear>mirage>legover>legover>
pixie legover>illusion drop
mirage>smear>mirage>legover>legover>illusion>pixie>pixie legover>
legover>mirage>pixie legover>YEEAH
Next drill goes out to weakspots and to the so called flip !
Thanks everbody for the good time :D

Pixie Eggbeater (2x)
Pixie Double Legover (2x)

My first triple dexes!

and another Pdx DLO
and Dimwalk>Ducking Butter>Ripwalk
off my foot again

PS: This session rocked so much. Too bad Max wasn't there. It was
so crowded, half of the hall was used by shredders 8O
Oh yeah, I hit Pixie Flapper again, and something like Parkwalk>Ripwalk>DLO. It was good playing with Mike and Philipp again,
and it's great to have a new recruit in our ranks!

Bea and me had a little drill session at my place on thursday.
It was all about drilling the basics,we shredded for 1 and a half
hours, so there werent any runs worth posting about.
Nevertheless both of us were able to bust some nu shit :
Bea hit parkwalk>pdx mirage on both sides and stepping mirage
( her first )on both sides aswell
I hit some nice combos ( pixie legover>illusion i.e) and i also
did my first butterflies on the flip plus i busted my first 4 add :
DIMWALK .
yesterday night i hit my second 4 add : pixie symposium mirage :D

I have big plans for monday, and i really look 4ward to meet the gang !!!

why not?

I'm still a bit ill, but I'll play tomorrow for sure. Probs on hitting Backside Smear Daryl! On friday I kicked a bit in my room and then I thought: " Hmm let's try Atomic set again." And I hit 2 Atomsmasher out of maybe 10 tries :)

22. November 2004
Once again Bea, Daryl and I at the gym. We all didn't play 100% but there were still a lot of nice things I remember like: Daryl hitting Backside Smear so easily a couple of times. And Bea hit Butterfly > Pdx Mirage rpt. I hope Daryl can post more details.
Since I was ill last week
(I was at work anyway :) standing 8 hours straight at a 4C printing machine)
my endurance was pretty bad. I although did a 28 contact run with mainly 2 adds + a couple a 3 adds. And I hit 4 Ripwalks :D Ripwalks are not my agenda but I'm glad anyway. Furthermore I drilled Buterfly > Pdx Mirage > SS Butterfly cause my flipside Butterfly gives me a hard time setting the bag correct.

big props.

I'm getting the hang of weaving clipper (ducking ss), which is so much fun right now.
especially weaving clipper>ducking clipper is pretty cool.

MONDAYS SHRED

This one was very interesting from the mental as well as from the
physical side of things.
Since a while, i'm work with two training schedules, because for
a part time "kopfmensch " like me, theory is quite important,
as it is increasing one's performance through understanding.

The first schedule is all about current basics and combos, where
the new one is a chart containig all my "harder" moves, concepts,
and big trix, that i'm more or less close to hit and so on.
On the latter i also record the progress on those trix, combos
and concepts.

I pretty much stick to both of those schedules, and since Bea and
me grew a habit practicing the bascics togethter, i get to see how
essential drilling is to me . RESULTS :
-records : 45alt. toe stalls; 22 alt. inside stalls ; toe>duck>op toe rpt
5 times
-trix : pixie ducking toe :D ; symposium mirage and butterfly getting
more consistent( hit both about 6 times); a single dimwalk;
pixie symposium mirage 4 times :)
Illusion>pixie leg over on both sides; mirage>smear twice; clipper>
far legover rpt 4 times; pixie legover>pixie legover once
-runs : one 15 contact run ( with butterfly, smear, pixie legover, pixie
clipper, illusion..but also four toes...grrr)
average tiltless 8, best tiltless 11 ( last monday )
Assassin and pixie illusion i was not to far away from, osis and datw
seem possible...
My flip needs full attenion, i havent hit one far leg over, magellan,
pixie clipper, symp. or ducking mirage with that side yet.
Pdx mirages and smear are also weak, to say the least...

Back to the theoretical stuff. I think, drilling all the basics on our
monday sessions, is not ideal for me. It takes a lot of time plus
my stubborness to get to a certain move, combo ect. also takes
a lotta energy , so i often end up with good basics and heavy legs.
At that time of the session, when timing and endurence arent too
great , i must concentrate quite hard to link half decently.

So i think i should split the basics drills into concept related sections;
maby something like : thursday is pixie day; friday for everything
clipperish; saturday for body stuff like pdx and ducking, sunday then
would be a day for general dexing, big moves and combo drills.
I gonna work out a plan for this stuff...
Like that, i could be more powerful and definitly more spontaneous
and daring when going for runs.
Monday drills will be reduced to 5-10 min for each of those sections
(approximatly 1hr in all) and i can put more love on freestyling itself,
you know, what i'm sayin

Saturday gonna be lotsa fun, so Bjoern please be with us !

Daryl, what's going on on saturday?

I'm afraid I won't be able to shred with you, as I have a job now for
2 weeks at the Messe, helping out at the "Heim+Handwerk Messe",
which means I'll be working 14days full time, from 8 to open end each
day. I'm not even sure if I can make it next monday (I do hope so though),
because we have a lot of Bewerbers coming for the free room and
we're in quite a hurry to fill the room with female life! I'll let you know
once I know more. ps: my bag is breaking in nicely, it's a ducking man's
dream! I finally hit and sealed weaving clipper>ducking clipper, as well
as weaving clipper flipside (man, my flipside clipper does suck).

Props for all your new moves ! Weaving is super styly ,
especially if you wearing a suit :D

Saturday was sweet in many ways, but before i go and ramble
about all the nu shit and pre puberty toe stalls, Max hip gave
him a hard time, so unfortunatly he couldnt play too long.
Bummer, our two best players injured, i hope that at least one
of you guys will come to the gym on monday ! Get well :!:

Max, Bea and me took part in a juggling convention conducted
in a school gym. The place was quite full, and there was a lotta
good stuff going on ; all types of jugglers, gymnasts, diabolo
players and unicyclists were putting their skill on display, but
the coolest thing was, that most of em were kids.
A lot of them were pretty proficient with thei art ,but one girl
really killed it : first she was unicycling backwards for a bit ,
and when she came to halt, this 10 year old freak started to
hop up an down. On a unicycle, mind you !!! But it got even
better, she got a thin rope out and begann to skip, while hopping....sick.

Every different crew had their own work shop or presentation,
and we had a very informal teaching-the-basics thing and a
kick contest ( winner gets a bag, surprise  ) on our menu .
What can i say, the kids were cute and curious as they should be
and some of them did really well. Martin, a boy about 11 and Lisa,
12 maby, were pretty good at kicking, comming in 1. and 2. in the
contest, with 6 and five contacts. They got a bag each, hope fully
they use it well. Anne Marie was learning toestalls and she hung
around the circle for hours, this other girl, Lisa hit both toe and
inside stall. And Max, a friend of Bea's hit 6 alternating toe stalls.
Big up everybody, although none of u will ever read that :?

Our shred was darned nice too and especially max hit some wicked stuff :
blur to atom smasher twice, rip walk bsos and toe whirl>pdx whirl bsos :D
Bea hit symposium mirage bsos and the same goes for osis !
She also was working on pheonix and came damm close to it two times.
The hunters also had good runs, i hope that Max can fill you in with
more details.

Its fair to say that i had a good day, all the drilling begins paying off.
Mainly i worked on pixies, clippers and body stuff and i made some baby
steps towards variety and bothsidedness.

records : toe>duck>toe rpt 6 times; smear>mirage rpt 2 times; plo>plo
(my record of the last two combos hasnt gone up, but it felt like
less effort); clip>far leg over rpt 5 times; atw 4 times
8 consecutive clippers; clipper to clipper yippie!

trix :dimwalk and pixie ducking toe again ; pixie heelstall ; ducking
mirage ( phew. i thought, i had lost that ...); pixie spinning toe
flip pdx mirage; clip>gyro toe>duck>op toe on both sides
osis.sealed, but it doesnt feel genuine yet, for i couldnt have
held the bag delayed on my foot, like i can do with clippers.

runs : 11 tiltless with plo bsos and smear and two illusions midrun.

But what was really fun were Bea and me trying to do doubles at the
end of our session; we managed to do 5 legovers (mirages ?) together
and had a couple of good laughs too, so there'll be more to come ...

tomorow i plan to improve my flip more. get osis down properly.
try some new sets. 15 contacts tiltless. more double dexing.
spins. ducks. chickens. everything.
peace

Daryl basicly said everything about saturday already :)
I think my hip joint isn't injured (thank god) the pain is only in my thigh muscel, so it isn't that bad and I can play again very soon, but I'm not sure about tonight... Daryl's runs getting longer and longer and he is really pushing his game. Bea now busts Pixie Legover > Pixie Legover like nothing :) and she was soo close to Pheonix. What's really cool is that there is a good chance that she will hit it on both sides at the same session.
For my part, I toyed around with Atomic moves and managed to hit 3 Atomsmasher pretty easy (compared to the 50+ tries I needed for my first one :?) and I also did Legbeater. Blur to Atomsmasher felt really good :D
so I hit 2/3 of the rubberman drill  but I'm not going to push atmoic more right now since I have other priorities + I'm afraid that trying flipside atomic caused my right leg to deny it's work. Other highlights were Whirl > PDX Whirl, PDX Whirl bsos and Ripwalk + Blur bsos.
And it was really funny to learn all those kids to toestall, in the end Daryl and I gave away one of our own bags.

sorry to bust your bubble, but you hit 1/3rd of Rubberman :( it's completed when all 3 moves are hit on both sides.. Still: I was like "WOAH" when Bea told me about Blur>Atomsmasher. Tight! Too bad
you weren't in the gym tonight. It was good shredding again, and I did
manage some stuff.

A couple of weaving stuff midrun, such as weaving osis, weaving butterfly,
weaving mirage and another ducking clipper>weaving clipper;

rev whirls midrun (flipside too, but in another run)

One run with: Toe DLO>Butterfly>DLO>Butterfly>Bubbabeater DROP

my runs are getting longer again. I'm able to string again!

some parkwalk>ripwalks were there as well.

at the end of the session, I hit 30 alternating clippers with max's abshire,
and 24 with my mini. I wanna hit at least 40 next session. my flipside
clipper is the root of all evil - it seems like it weakened itself while my
goodside progressed. infinities, flipside clipper moves of all sort give
me a hard time because I haven't found the perfect clipper position yet.
but thanks to drilling ducking sameside, I have found my strong clippers
to be much better than they used to. It feels like after 2 years of shredding I have finally found my perfect clipper position. Clipper is
one of those moves that keeps evolving.

ramble off.

hope to see you next monday, max! and call me on wednesday for
the carpet!
