looking for a new footbag

Post by MikeTelevision »

Right now i'm using a dirtbag 8 panel and i am wondering what the pros of having a pellet filled footbag are. are they heavier, stall better, stay rounder or flater. what are some good suggestions for a new footbag

hey
these days, small pellet filled 32's arethe most popular footbags which are stitched by proffesional stitchers.
Theyre about the size of a golf ball, give or take and once broken in, they still become round and robust but stalling with them is close to stalling with a sandbag, and theyre also heavy aswell, depending on your stitcher.
Ive got an Abshire Mini and had it for about 4 months and it has broken in very very nicely, so sweet and soft and it sticks aswell which is good.
popular stitches these days are:
Abshire
Lonn
Jbag
Felix
Carol
and a lot lot more new stitchers are coming into the game of stitching

All you gota do is search around the forum to find lots of bag recommendations. Carol, Abshie, Lon to name a few.

You could also get a Mr sandbag which will be way better than your dirtbag.

Pellet filled bags can be heavier and I think some stitchers let you choose how much it weighs, rounder (also holds its shape better in the air), sets better, stall as good as a sandbag after break in (or even b4 maybe)

I don't want to sound or be read like a douche but this is about the 4th time i've had to do this to a certain topic because people don't find much time to search around.... (I'm one to talk.... :?)

All the people here are chioce stitchers. I got one from Richard Abshire... his e mail is
he's cool. he'll return a maessage between the time frame of about three or four days tops.... Trevor Hibbs is a guy that makes the Jbags. Top Chioce but his pattersn make it even more appealing for the eye. Once you find that something is missing, then go and make your own bags... i'm TRYING to make my own... maybe i'll sell you one. ONce I get good....
