Crap I am injured again. Near the end of yesterday's amazing session we started to goof around with breakdancing and I went all out with handstands and feet grabbing and flopping feet waggling, and at the end I did a dinky little summersault and ended bruising my posterior superior iliac spine. I don't know how serious it is but it's painful to walk, particularly after I sit down for a while. In any case at least it's not some muscle or tendon injury, those are FAR worse.
But I also hope it's not a hairline fracture or something stupid like that.

I swear I am NEVER doing a summersault EVER again. Take this as a warning everyone, your posterior superior iliac spine deserves better.

And gosh darnit I was playing so well too, I was hitting 12 contact strings all night.

I really really really want to shred tomorrow because I have a number of things to do, mainly hit slaughter and witchdocter on tape and show how different they are and how cool slaughter is and how more people should hit it, and just because people don't hit it doesn't mean it shouldn't be thought of or distinguished, yada yada yada. I also want to hit smoke swirl and some more hopping stuff on tape.
The thing is I really don't know if I'll be able to, it still hurts when I walk. I'll try to play through it if I can.
And also Kolo is going to kill me if I don't have the 10 bucks for NDA and I only have 5.

I'm sorry James but I wont be there tomorrow.. I'm stuck up between 2 interviews (one thursday morning) and the other on friday.. I got to prepare and make sure I'm ready so I wont have time for shredding and taping, so maybe you can take it slow until monday to hit those big moves on tape :)
I'm so hoping that my interview turns out good for my job in Gabon Afrika.. but at the same time I would'nt mind if it went bad since I just met a decent girl...

I'm getting too far away from the subject of your blog now..
Hope you recover soon and see you monday

The subject of my blog is whatever subject anyone deems worthy, so don't worry about that. I hope your interview goes well, and I will see you on Monday for sure.
Plus I've got some good ideas for the video, we should brain storm on it next week.

Also, I want to see you hit slaughter. I've been trying it, and it's tough to coordinate my legs so they don't run into eachother. :?

Hahaha Kevin I love cheese. Especially with ham. I just ate a ham and cheese sandwich actually. That cheese you had looked pretty damn tasty, I hope it is being denatured in your stomach right now. The vid with slaughter (and other mad shred from Montreal) should be out in less than a month (I hope)
Hey and now I can stalk Eric Reile, just need the area code muahahaha.

Greg thanks for the support, it's feels great to be appreciated! But I'm wondering how you even know about me cuz I'm like so underground and not many people have seen or remember me play. Were you at World's in Montreal?
btw I like the random numbering/lettering and language usage, it fits with this blog quite nicely.
We will definitely shred ASAP, which will be at the next tourney we're both at I reckon. I'm planning on going to Chilly Philly, CSS6, the edmonton jam, the hackrifice one...and whatever other one there is in Canada for the next 2 years. You'd better be at one of those.

Alas I won't be playing tonight, i've decided to let it heal up over the weekend before I try it out, but it is getting better.
I"m so eager to shred and get better...like bap...we'll see :?

I didn't even see that I caught his number there. :)

And Greg, is anyone from Vancouver planning to come to Edmonton next June? I don't really know anyone there...

Ive finally come out of the modified closet and might start to give a post here or there.
Hope your back is feeling better by monday, for our session which i should be at.
Also PROPS on that awsome brakedance, it blew my mind how a man such as yourself could bust on the floor like a snake in water!!!

Hahahaha that metaphor is amazing! I'm just glad that my injury was not in vain. Actually, taking the week off really helped with the mental aspect of my game and I can't wait to get back into action.
My blog is honoured by your first post.

Oh yeah I won't be showing up to NDA tonight, I'm seeing Alexander with my girlfriend but I'm still going to have a rockin' session here at Vanier...I've got some new stuff to try.
I'll see all you wacky crazies on Thursday.

Hey Kevin, here's a vid of me hitting slaughter. It's the second attempt on the vid, everything else is drops.
I couldn't get decent software to edit it so I just stuck the whole thing in there. But I think you can slo-mo it anyway.
The vid is also sideways!! tomorrow there will be one that is straight hehe

slaughter

edit: for some reason it says 'my sweetest moves 2003' and says it's jeremy mirkens vid.
You can ignore that, i don't know what's going on there

You guys should get instant messenger or phones. Just a suggestion. :?

Anyway, looking forward to a new video from you all. I have such fond memories of the NDA (California Connection!) :)
