im none too fond of thanksgiving myself, actually. its all just hangin with my whole stupid family and eating food i dont like.

Is it really necessary to have a topic about a national holiday? Less than half the people on this board are from the US - you should get a US only forum or something like that - people from other countries don't make topics about holidays and celebrations that only apply to their country.

well you COULD...and what about that one topic that was mostly in...was it german? not everyone speaks German either. if you arent interested in thanksgiving, or havent even heard of it, there is plenty else to talk about

See I just don't get it... Some vegetarians tell all who care about how bad meat is and how animals don't have their place on a dinner table, and then they take tofu and mime animal dishes with it??? What's the point?

disclaimer: this is nothing negative aimed at Lighting bolt, I'm just suprised that turkeys and burgers are looked down upon by vegetarians then they whip out a tofu turkey and tofu burgers to munch on.. maybe they're nostalgic

anyway hope the americans on this board had a happy thanks giving, I enjoyed that holiday when I used to live in the US!

I am not a vegetarian, but I imagine vegetarians either think that meat is unhealthy, and/or it is inhuman to kill animals just in order to eat them. They still like the taste of meat, they just don't eat it. They have nothing against killing tofu plants, so if they can get that to taste like meat they eat it...

Btw turkey has some crazy chemical in it that makes you tired...

moral of the story is that thanksgiving sucks for footbag...anyway our canadian thanksgiving was over a month ago.
