Speaking to parents direct is usually a good idea. There's a lot of internet weirdos out there, and even more media coverage of them.

They just completely refused. i tried everything. i tried telling them they could talk to mike, i even said they could meet him, they just dont fucking care that i like footbag so much, and they dont care that it is just 2 hours away.

If anyone is interested we (CIC) reserved a suite at the hotel and we have plenty of floor space left. The suite is $350/night so with 10-12 people you would be paying roughly $75 for two nights. Get ahold of me somehow if you want in.
