Worlds short

Post by Muffinman »

I needed to clear up some room on my harddrive, so I was checking what footage I could delete (I think I had, like, 90 gigs of footage before I started cleaning up...) and double checking what I still had backed up on tape I came across tapes of Dereks that I completetly forgot about. 90% of the footage I have is competition, so there is very little shred, but I put together this clip of some cute runs.
3 minutes, 12 megs.
Features Loren Baum, Daryl Genz, Felix Zenger, Jere Linnanen(?), Jim Penske, Sebastien Duschesne, Ales Zelinka, Jorden Moir.

It was really neat to watch raw footage from Worlds -- I almost felt like I was there. It's 6:30 in the morning and I haven't slept. I've been sitting at my computer consuming an 850g bag of Doritos and watching older footage on my computer. I'm really stoked to get Ryan Thomas' Worlds DVD in the mail, now!!

I remember seeing felix hit that bubba butterfly and being completely blown away. I'm so glad someone got it on tape!

Oh man. That song during Jorden's bit around 2:40, that sure triggered something in my memory...I remember that day so well.

*reminisces*

Thanks Erik.

This was awesome ..

What really triggered good memories for me was seeing the Penske shred in the halls of the UQAM.

That was so much fun having sessions in there, and just being able to walk around to the different floors at night and see a bunch of different sessions.

I'm surprised it took them as long as it did to tell us not to do that :)

That really was an awesome video! I'm usually not a fan of raw shred, but I really like this one. :) That shred in the hallway and the Jorden stuff was really amazing! Some of those combos were sweet as hell! Thanks for the video Erik!

may be short but definately an awesome little clip. Derek got some great angles out at Place de Arts, and it was really good to get some footage of Seb, he was shredding awesome. Thanks for makin it. :-)
