since he mentioned electronic chains, he must mean a type of chain in which it keeps him bound to something. I.E, maybe the computer because it is pretty addictive or just Halo 2 or Sand Andreas. So I will gues something that has preoccupie his previous time. Video games are a good choice...

Hard Struggle:

From personal experience, it was more than a fucking struggle for me. maybe it was like a war. From this, i will most likely deduct that he is take up the long hard struggle of footbag. To become a professional footbagger perhaps? That is my guess...
