A donation for Vasek.

Ok, this might sound ridiculous, but here is what I think:

Vasek has a birthday pretty soon and I thought it would be cool to make him a gift from "modified" community. The gift is a pair of NB 520 shoes since Vasek's lavers are dead.

Here are my reasons for that:

First off, the sport would never ever go as far as it is not without Vasek. We just need to say: "Thank you Vasek"
We all know how much fun it is to wake up in the morning and watch his new footage such as "blavicka", "vasek raw", "100 bars" and many others. These things just make my day! If he got new shoes, he would push the sport to higher level and that's what we want, don't we???

I doubt NB 520 are sold in Europe, but I'm sure this kid would be happy to try out something different from lavers.

Hmmm...I don't have as many reasons as I thought I would, but my point is just to say "Thanks" this great person.

I think 0.5 cents from each member on this forum would be enough to buy and ship the shoes to CZ.

They pretty much are, but it's all about giving him an opportunity to try something new which might (and I'm sure will) result in some hardcore strings and tricks.

ummm, well, honza's non footbag shoes are ct-300's. and he says he tried them for footbag, and hated them. now, if honza was playing in them briefly, vasek may have had a go at them as well, and just not liked playing with them. this also makes me think the 520's would be available in europe too. buy the kid some new lavers, or some g-units. lavers are a safe bet, as i bet he'll actually use them.

either way, vasek's a nice bloke, so i'll chip in a whole 1$. can i write you a check?

yeah,....what if he hates them ?
I see myself with a new pair of NBs, sponsired by the whole fucking community and they suck for me....that would make tournaments really uncomfortable as many people think I'll wear them....

ok before you actualy spend your money let me say this.

vasek, honza and ales get a pair of shred shoes from CFA every year such that they have something little for their hard work.

vasek wears his old ones as he feels better that in the new ones he still has one pair in his closet

maybe just send him an original postcard

or footbag that he looses all the time.

if we're gonna get him something, we should get him some G-Units. I remember him saying he wanted a set of those at worlds.

but seriously. if he wanted a new pair of shoes for free from the community, he'd just ask steve goldberg. Steve's hooked so many players up with so much for free over the years, I can't imagine him letting vasek go without shoes if they were needed.

if you really want to show vasek your appreciation, just make him an appointment with the coach at your next tournament

Vasek won all 3 Worlds with the same lavers. He told me that with those
shoes you can hit anything you want..he could make a shitload of money
selling those on ebay

Holy Crap I definetely didn't see that. With those Vasek Shoes he'd sell on ebay, he'd have enough euros or whatever money they use over there to buy like four other lavers and maybe 520's or G-units.
