I'm in!

See! This is why I love footbag! The commuity so colse knited. Find me a differnt sport where people are going to buy their sports superstar a gift for his birthday. Go on. I dare you!

Dex and Honza, I know we keep telling you to tell him stuff. And thanks for being so cool. Could you tell him not to be shy and tell us what he wants. Because we all want to give him something.

I think a golden footbag a awesome gift idea or maybe a huge teddy bear that says 'you rock' or something. Maybe a a pair of very very nice shorts, like Gucci or something.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

I personally think that's the best idea for a gift so far, but odds are he already has something of equal stature. ;)

This is ridiculous, why would you buy him anything? What has he done for the sport other then just playing himself and inspiring people? Why dont we buy Ryan Mulroney a ps2 because he inspired Vasek to play, who inspired us? Why not buy Pete a ps2, because he inspired Ryan who inspired Vasek who inspired us?

I honestly think this is a ridiculous idea, flame all you want, but none of my hard-earned pennies are going to him for the sole reason because we think he is good. I could understand a trounament pooling some money together top fly him down to wherever its being help but this..? Nah.

EDIT: In fact, why dont you buy Steve Goldberg something for his birthday present since he has done alot more?

Why don't we just send him postcards?

That seems like an easy option and if you are Nick - you can send one to Ryan and Peter and anybody else you like as well without spending too much money :D

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. This thread kind of struck me as off as soon as I read it. Nice gesture though.
