Barfly and DoD are distincly different moves by any criteria . . . Jobs notation is the easiest to see.

set>op out>same out>op clip
set>same out>same out>out clip

lol.

Um I'm pretty sure that crispy paradon is a tapdown!! - Certainly the definition of crispy that I was told and have always gone with would say that that's exactly what a crispy paradon is!!

I think Ken invented the terms? Maybe he can enlighten us?

In my opinion one of the most important things to have down in any move is the footwork. Especially when you're trying hard multi dexing moves. Paradon and Barfly have completely different footwork. If you want to be able to hit those moves well you need to approach them completely differently. - That's why most people hit paradon before they hit barfly - because paradon is easier. What we need is a poll!

FUCKKKKKKKKK JOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
THEY ARE THE SAME MOVE!!!!!!

Well you see the whole concept of crispy is just messed up then. Because I always thought a crispy torque was when you did like a step into an osis (ie muted). In ANY case it does not alter any of my arguments in anyway, I just have to reword them, AGAIN.

muted paradon is not a tapdown.
Tapdown and paradon are distinct.

Crispy is where you do a move that is all one action - divided up into more than one action

So stepping op osis is a cripsy torque. Tapdown is a crispy paradon etc.

Muted is when you don't plant between components. So paradon is already a muted move. Muted tapdown would be a distinct uptime atomic dex and then a same side butterfly - but without planting the dexing foot.

So is a muted tapdown a paradon? What level of "crispyness" does this move need to have to get two uniques? Where do you draw the line?

Crispy as a concept is wasteful. Why say crispy paradon when it's already called a tapdown?
I know what muted is. And you're definition is slightly off but I'm too tired to bother.
A muted tapdown is a slight variation of tapdown, but still not a paradon.

Which fucking leg sets the bag and which does the first dex are HUGE to the uniqueness of a trick. Seeing barfly and DoD as the same trick is just plain wrong.

Is a void the same trick as a vortex ?

same exact distinction as Barfly and DoD . . . which leg does the first dex after the set.

'FRAID NOT!!!!

You're dealing with sets now. Sets have two different moves out of every SINGLE downtime move. So void is spinning OP drifter and vortex is spinning SAME drifter.
This has NOTHING to do with the issue we WERE talking about.

I've probably been playing longer than you have been dressing yourself.

You are mistaken.

The jobs are different on a massive scale for barfly and paradon. To say these are the same is EXACTLY equivalent to saying void and vortex are the same trick. Which leg does the first dex relative to the setting foot is everything in determination of uniqueness.

I don't care how long you've been playing, you're still wrong.

Prove it.

I have a program that can score shred BECAUSE the set location determines the uniqueness of a move, it's eligibility for paradox, and it's uniqueness.

put up or shut up chico

I really don't see what's so hard to comprehend here.

What you're saying by saying that paradon and barfly are different moves is that if I set from my forehead it's a different move as well. Or if I set from my elbow or shoulder or any other place they're all different moves. That's ridiculous.
What about legover? So same clipper legover is a different move from op clipper legover?
It isn't.

Just because you made some dinky program doesn't mean it's correct.

Yes, much like an ATW is not a mirage or a legover. It is an identical relationship to the one discussed before.

Footbag does not count the setting "surface", but the relativeness of the surface to the first dexterity has been counted except for a few tricks which are treated as special cases.

And out-in atw IS a legover, but it obviously isn't a mirage. It is not an identical relationship, they are not homologous!
A legover is not a mirage because of the DIRECTION of the dex and the relative END location.

It counts the relativeness of the ending location in relation to the dexes because the SETTING location is part of the PREVIOUS move.

My friend does not play footbag (besides kicking) yet he understands what I am talking about. How come freestylers are having so much difficulty with this concept?
