Whoa what a session!

I ended up getting out of work alot later than I expected, and Mat and I already planned to meet in Aylmer, at his school at 4pm to shred. I got out of work at 3:45, ran home, threw all my shit together, jumped into the car and raced over to Quebec. I got there at 5:20 which is good time because it's usually a 20 minute walk home and a half an hour drive from my house to his school.

Well I get there, I illegally park so I didn't have to pay 4 bucks(Thinking about Tom) and met Mat at the main doors, he was there with two other of his crew, the really onesided butterfly guy, and the moderately two sided butterfly guy. I forget their names.

So we go to the gym to shred and we find out that we cant shred in the gym because they were right in the middle of setting up a bunch of badminton courts. We found out later that there was this huge badminton tournament going on and we just happened to be conflicting with it. So we go to the weight room that had a big aerobics room in the back, get all ready, stretch, start warm-up kicking, and then we get kicked out of there too! Some group had it booked at 6 so we had about 15 minutes in there.

So we moved to just outside the gym, and beside the regestration tables for the big badminton tournament, and the people just started pouring in, we must have had a few hundred or so people just hanging out and watching us (not a few hundred totally, but collectively over the three hours we played) It was a great session, and Mat got to spread the word of footbag to alot of the curious audience a la francais (mine sucks)

I played real well, I was super happy with my super bothsidedness and really guiltless play.

soo damn close to pheonix on both sides, so close that I have no concern whatsoever that I'll hit both sides by Xmas and thus saving me from my rediculously embarrassing "or else situation" I put myself in.

I was so happy about my ripwalks, I was throwingi them in both sides mid string all over the place, hell my stepping set in general is coming along very nicely!!

Mat hit:
gyro torque both sides..

footed double blender

hit his first clean double whirl

so many long awesome strings

The one sided guy hit like 15 one sided butterflies in a row, with like two spinning clippers thrown in the middle

The moderately bothsided clipper guy only shred for like 20 minutes but had a few awesome strings, came real close to symp whirl and ripstein too

The shred was awesome, after the shred we went to Mat's house and watched the lions den. I'd not seen it until that point and I thought it was an awesome vid, and eli's fatality scene was the greatest thing to ever happen to footbag. And Chad D is the shit.

Mat let me borrow his lions den copy so now I have it to watch again and again and never give it back!!!! muahahahahhahaha!

K i'm calling it, by next friday I'll raise my alternating ripwalk record, it's at 4 right now.

I ask because I just got a hold of the old book I used to keep track of my footbag stuff a while ago, and I've been thinking of gettin gall organized with me shred again.

Today i worked instead of shred..

I get off my five and-a-half hour shift, I get home, check modified, put on my shred shorts, start stretching, ten minutes in I get a call from my boss asking if I can take a closing shift, so, my desire for a higer paycheck got in the way. But I did get to play for about twenty minutes, i didnt really warm up too much because my time was short, but i actually hit two ok strings:

I got both those on tape too!

I gotta practice my clips and butts more.

So lucky you are to play footbag with Mat Laroque! I played a bit with him at worlds, and besides being a hein shredder, he was also one of the friendliest footbaggers I met at the tournament. That`s saying a lot, considering MacKenzie, Smoothie, Stan, and Nate L were at the tourney.

Good job on the bothsidedness and progress.

didn't hit much today.. but I did do the shittiest editing job a video could ever have, when I was compiling my little video I'm making. It's about 3 minutes of low quality shred footage of me in my dirty ass room, but it's fun to see me hit a bunch of cool shit on tape.

So Tom was planning on visiting me today but his damn car had to go and be sucky, so no group sesh today

But to make up for the misfortune I had a drill session. I havent had a drill session in a while cuz I've been just doing strings for the last couple weeks for the video I put together of me. This video is DONE finally but I still don't have it hosted. Hopefully Cole will be doing this soon! Well during my drill sesh I set these new drill records:

I also did some strings, I managed to hit pixie ss mirage>pixie ss mirage>string... and also parkwalk>stepping ss mirage>string. Im trying to hit the drill Kev wanted me to hit, parkwalk>stepping ss mirage rpt but I can only get the two sides on their own, not back to back

it'll come, I swear. Also I footed flipside pheonix a whole wack of times and I've decided to not hit pheonix again until I hit it flipside. Of course I will break this rule if a really hot girl who's all into footbag and thinks I'm sexy and wants me to try it.

Chilly Philly coming up soon!! still no passport

I've decided that I'll be taking my chances at the border though, so wish me luck! I want to go to Chilly Philly so bad so I'm willing to risk the inconvenience of having to turn around at the border just to have a chance to get to Philly. I had so much fun at worlds and I've been waiting in eager anticipation for the next time I would attend another gathering of likeminded individuals so if I end up not making CP i'll be pissed! But I will definitely make it to CSS6 that's fo sho.
