Yeah this site has been mentioned a few times - but it's still good and interesting.

I got:

Economic Left/Right: -9.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.92

Which is about the same as what I got last time I think.

Interesting score for me, being totally honest:

Questions that have a "never" or "always" in them I ususally disagree.

They needed a "no opinion" option.

Congratulations on not reading the site at all. It explains pretty clearly why there is not a "sit on fence" option.

I don't think it's all that accurate. I know a lot of people who are way more extreme than I am. But I have fairly strong opinions on everything so I clicked strongly agree or disagree on most things.

Every time I have taken this test I almost quit halfway through because the questions are so stupidly simply and overly reductionalist. It's so frustrating. I mean astrology? C'mon.

And this one:

A significant advantage of a one-party state is that it avoids all the arguments that delay progress in a democratic political system.

Needs to be reworded, it's way too close to being a question about the actual workings of multi vs single party systems rather than whether or not these workings are advantageous or not. Obviously the legislative process is more efficient in multi-party systems, that's a fact, whether or not this efficiency is overall 'a significant advantage' in the whole scheme of things is I think what the question is asking though.

I think I have beef with over 50% of the questions...But oh well, I'll quit my bitching, this was my result:

I don't think the statement is concerning a comparison with legislative bodies, but trying to see our opinion on having a dictatorial "one-party" system.

The statement also implies that we think governments' creating legislation equals progress.

I would call it progress if Congress was cancelled for 10 years, with no laws being passed.

The public probably wouldn't even notice.
