Ales, Vasek, Ales, Ales?
The first one is sick, Trevorr! Thanks for posting -- it's been far too long! We should have a drawing thread again! My last two projects in my painting major class have been a footbag series (finishing up the second on Monday)!!
I love love love the twist of the wrist! I alos really like the fine linework and the pointy fingers!

Ales would look SO COOL in a cartoon series!
Ok, now we start imagining famous footbaggers in cartoon style!
edit: I meant Ales. I always type Alex for some reason.

geez I got a lot of replyies... I would and will gladly sell any of my work, I'm too poor not to (more $ means more art)

PS: They weren't really in the picure but I actually added the pointy fingers becase I know he grows his nails out for classical guitar

I recall telling my teacher while I was drawing these, that the players in our sport become so attuned to movements and positions that normal people aren't, that they could probably tell both the move and even the player from a still silhouette. Right on with the guesses. Its barfly, ps whirl, and 2 of pdx whirl.Ales, Vasek, Ales, Ales?

haha, gouche! isnt that the space inbetween your asshole and your balls? nice.jhibbs wrote: gouche.
AMAZING WORK MAN. I would definitely pay for that first one its so lovely
edit* what are the dimensions of the piece and how much do you think you would be willing to sell it for?
Jim Jansen
that's a grundel, but nice try. gouche is an opaque water based paint.haha, gouche! isnt that the space inbetween your asshole and your balls?
As for sales I would probably charge $20 for the smaller ones and a bit more for the longer ones. The superfly one is a bit smaller than a piece of copy paper and I'd sell it for $40. PM me if you're interested. I have also been considering screenprinting some t-shirts but nothing final yet.

I would buy a shirt of the first one on the back and nothing else anywhere. I really like the baseball(?) style tshirts with the diagonal seam from armpit to collar (WITH BROWN SLEEVES!!!!!!!!)
EDIT: It's hard to tell what Ales is doing in the third one -- it just looks like a clipper. It was hard to tell it was him, too. My biggest hint was the colour of shorts. The others were obvious, though! Vasek and Ales have such different styled whirls.
