i havent shredded in the past 2 days

i had indoor soccer and that killed my legs, its all sprinting. I am going to play right now though, im going to do drills and stuff and then just FREEstyle for an hour or 2

i realized i fucking suck at footbag

my strings suck, all i can link are legovers and mirages. i am going back to basics and string length for a while, im not going to come back on modified til i have a good solid foundation, ,i hope it will only be a week or 2, but it may be longer, i will still be on msn though if you want to talk.

you can hit phoenix, ducking ps mirage, and royal assassin but you can only string mirage and legover? Are you sure your not just being to hard on yourself buddy. Anyways good luck with your basics

Well, I think i should update this. Ill actually write about whats going on.

In school i am getting all A's. Its the middle of the second quarter, so the first semester of my high school career is almost over. My science teacher is a complete ass, but EVERY other teacher i have is great. They arent boring, and I never have homework.

I am a freshman, so im traditionally supposed to be mistreated and such. This is definitely not the case for me. I have many upper classmen friends, and i know almost EVERYONE in the school. I think part of this is the homecoming king is a friend of mine. He had to serve a sports suspension on the soccer team, which I am on. That whole team is awesome, we went 9-4-5 over the season, and had a great time doing it. Everyone on it is hilarious and great to hang around with. I hope to make varsity next year, but even if I dont I will have a great time down on JV.

I am in this great class called Communications Technology. The first quarter of this class was all about using computers to make designs, and then use the schools many printing presses to make about 50 copies of each project. I made a couple of notebooks and a footbag poster. The teacher in this class, Mr. Mackenzie, is the coolest. We call him Mack, and he lets us do anything. The school just bought 12 G5 apple computers and those are in that room. We listen to music all class and i play a bit of footbag. In between this I draft, and next half of this quarter is Audio Video. This last week in this class i have been dropping ass. Everyone knows its me

My footbag career is going great also. I have hit almost all of my tricks flipside, with the exception of atomsmasher. I hit weaving butterfly and osis both sides, as well as legbeater both sides last night!

This is by far the most I have written in my blog. It felt good.

Well im feeling really badly about my game. Like a frustrated feeling. I know i can hit some big moves, but my strings are always 2 adds and butterfly and pdx mirage. I am frustrated because my strigns never have variety and its hard for me to learn and school new moves. I dont have anyone to learn from so i cant find out how to do things correctly. I have tried watching single trick videos but they dont help. Can anyone help me? Any solutions to shredding alone and having no guidance?

EDIT: Wow what a turnaround. I just hit grifter with my left leg, usually my weak leg. I cant even come close right leg. I will school it hopefully and put it in strings

hey there henry.

I find i am in the same situation as you.

My standard is probably same as yours solid tiltless (20-30) with some 3's thrown in.

What i like to do which keeps me interested and helps me improve is as follows:
1.Write down a run you want to hit. My current one is:

Atw(in)>Atw(out)>butterfly>pdx mirage>ducking mirage>atw (in)>Atw(out)>butterfly>pdxmirage>duckingmirage>butterfly>ducking clipper>mirage>butterfly>ducking clipper.

2. If you drop it on a move say pdx mirage or atw or whatever, i then try and do consecutives of that trick until i drop. record and therfore you can see if you are improving as well. I find this helps get a certain move or component down (REPETITION).

3. Think about what you are doing wrong

4.Patience

5. Only try and hit new moves at the end of a session when you are too rooted to shred.

6. We are all different, but it is just to give you some ideas.

7. Note also try and include some clipper drills, and butterfly drills in every solo shred session.

8.have fun (this is the most important point)

Well i taped my sick 3 today. I then put it on the Tv, then taped it with my crappy digi cam. It is dark, but i think you can still tell whats going on.

its really smooth, controlled, and the last move is really stylish.

i also hit butterfly, pdx mirage, ducking clip, and smear bsos in one string

Last Night i hit WITCHDOCTOR!!!

Tonight i was schooling everything.

Playing time:2 hours
Sweating time:1 hours and 55 minutes
Fresh Legs: About 1 hour.
Bag used: Lonn, Abshire, 2nd abshire, used my hermey for about 10 minutes, its not breaking in quickly, so i get frustrated when playing with it.
Shoes: 5 month old white/green lavers

I hit some illusions, they still suck, but i think i am improving. I hit DLO strong side for the first time, because i never really tried them before. I also footed it flip side.

I hit ducking butter>PS mirage
grifter>pdx mirage
plo>smear>ducking butter>PS mirage>dimwalk
and i tried for my infinity record (8

) at the end of the session, but i was too tired and couldnt really crank my ankles cause they were so sore. But i ended up getting 6 or 7 about 10 billion times.
