I was wondering the same thing.

Any thoughts? I've watched it three times now...I'm still not entirely sure what the diretor is trying to say.

The movie is in its full version and completely free, but there's also a dvd available with special features to support the film-makers.

I think it's about the state of today's society... The movement towards materialism and the mass unhappiness this causes amonst the peoples. It's a cycle of discontent.... There is a wicked amount of symbolism/irony in the film and it's definately open to intepretation. I also really enjoyed the music and claymation.

I'm in the process (the very long process) of producing something similar. I loved that. Thanks for pointing it out to me. It's given me a ray of hope, for what I want to acheve.

Ok, so this is a basic rundown on one of the issues tackled in 'More'.

It's sort of about how we live our lives in persuit of happyness, when the happyness is already within us.

We can substitute the world we live in, for something else (drugs, alcahol, psycosis, or the 'bliss' goggles), but we're not really changing the world for us, only our limited perspective on things.

The character starts out with a fire in his belly, and a thrirst for happyness or bliss, and he works toward that goal, but when he gets there, it's not enough... he wants more. And don't we all? Are we ever really happy with what we've got? Especially when all we need is within us?

Hmmmm.
Makes you think.
