Worlds vid, part 2- Long over due

Here is part 2 of my worlds video. i released part 1 in late august/ early september. i edited most of this video in september, grew bored with it, edited a bunch more in late october, finished the end of it a few weeks ago, and have spent the last few tinkering with the timing, and finally it's done (or as done as it gets. if i wait any longer worlds 2005 will soon be upon us.)

this video pretty much wraps up my worlds experience in one nice little package. the music and the clips hold alot of meaning for me. it may not be your cup of tea, but frankly my dear, i don't give a damn.

and on that note... turn the lights off, put on your head phones, crank the volume and enjoy.

please save it to your computer so you don't kill our bandwidth.

Awesome video... I really enjoyed it.
The intro and the ending queed up to the music very nicely.
All in all an great video, I will probably watch it a million more times now.

For a minute I sat there listening to the song with a blank black screen in front of me. I thought to myself "man, he is *really* pushing the artisitic boundaries on this one" as the movie hadnt started yet despite all the perfect timing opportunities the song provided. Then I wised up and realised that my player was just fucked up.

Upon playing it in a proper player I was treated to five minutes of magic. i love how you eased all the players into the movie showing them getting prepared to bust, great establishing stuff. I think I figured out the big difference in our editing styles. We are both obsessive and full of ideas, but you seem to have the tenacity to stick with it and bring them all to fruition. Whereas all my movies are one long intense session I don't get up from until the movie is done then I am done with it for good.

I suppose the results of that is that all your movies blow my mind and all mine are hack pieces of crap.

The shot selection and filiming locations were superb.

I liked seeing footage of some people I hadn't seen much of. I really want to see more stylie eric riele.

However I really really want to see more Andrew Grant movies.

Thanks Andrew! This is fantastic! I personally liked the three frames of Steve under the umbrella.

And that one string from Jorden is so epic! Liquefier, Diving Flail, then Pdx Barrage > Legbeater > Ripwalk > Pdx DLO, then Pdx Blender > PS Whirl.

Pdx Barrage > Legbeater is so impressive.

Sweet video Andrew, I like how everytime you see Brad Nelson he's got this huge grin on his face it's great.

That video made me so happy.

So many good memories.

I remember that session in that back alley with Justin, David, Jorden and others. I remember hearing that an "epic" session was going on, and I walked over in a drunken haze and watched the tail end of it. Unfortunately I think it was kind of winding down and I missed most of the epicness I think.

Anyway, that video was phenominal, and the quality was really good.
