My blue freedom is Blues clues and my yellow/blue one is Chester. Naming bags build the vital relationship you and your bag has.
I think I going to take over Canada. You should help.

All of my close bags have had names.
My very first bag, a 42(?) panel purple, black and white "Legend", was named Data 7.
I had a red and purple Juice (do you newbies even know what a Juice is?? (If not consider yourself lucky?...)) but I can't remember it's name -- maybe it didn't have one! >_____<
I got two Carols around the same time. My purple and green one is named Frogface. The other one I ordered from Carol and asked for purple and green (Joel picked up the other one for me at Worlds after I ordered from Carol, knowing what colours I like) and she sent me SCRAPS! (It's navy blue, red, green, yellow and beige!!!! Doubleyew, tee, eff??) She told me I could send it back if I wanted, but I said screw that (not to her) and named it Junk, because it shames me. I now play with a purple and white Hibbs that Marita has named The Claw, I wasn't too keen on the name at first, but alas I had no say in the matter. My brother's primary bag is a 28(?)-panel "Alpha" which he got shortly after I got Data 7, and he is named Bumblebee, he's green, yellow and black.
Marq Leeman named his red and blue Revolution Spidey. I don't know about Derek and Andrew's bags.

well i have named all my bags.
my first rev, white and black, was named "Senor Uno" because it was my first freestyle bag... very original. after that i got 2 more revs, one green and grey, which i had named Yurtle (since the colours matched yurtle the turtle from dr. seuse(sp?)) and a black and yellow one i named "Mya" after an old cartoon show i used to watch when i was about 5 called "mya the bee".
after that i got abbygail a red and white abshire mini, named partly after abshire and my friend abby. next came "moose head", a red and white rev i bought of erik. i figured mooshead was a good canadian name, going with the colors, and i was just leaving for europe so it was a little piece of home.
[off topic] i "traded" moosehead to an english chap i met in zurich. it was litterally hours befor footjam04 in the wee morning hours and we were drinking vodka sevs around a tiny table in the hostel. i was briefly explaining footbag to him and he said he would like to see it, since he had to catch a train out the next morning and couldn't come to the comp. i showed him and he was totally blown away. ha asked where he could get one and i tossed it to him and said "keep it" he gave me his last 3 Heinekens in return.[/off topic]
after that i got purple and black rev, but i have no idea where i got it from. either way, i named it "The Shadow". why? "Only The Shadow knows..."
i gave the shadow to mike. i then bought an other rev that was blue, red and white and named it americano. at worlds i bought a red, and green carol, which was later named "Bitch" be cause after every session, i would find another hole and exclaim "YOU BITCH!" <--- not aimed at carol, she is super awesome. you couldn't find a nicer lady if you tried!
i later stitched a bag that was yellowish and purple and named it blueberry pie. it had a short life once the cats got to it. i then got my freddy t bag, which is named fleurie because it's light blue and white, and also named after "the one that got away". but i don't really call it that because it brings back painful memories, so i just tend to call it "my fredd y t bag". i'v stitched a few since then. tomato (red, green) lime stone (green, grey) and i have one that is presently sans nom. we'll see how that plays out.

I name my bags as well, but its sorta code for me not to name my own bags. I have a freedom white, purple, grey that my buddy Eric named grapes, its on its last legs, daryl said it's like 3 years old and still kicking. Then you got the mini abshire, cleverly named, The Abs.
I had an old freedom bag that was black and yellow. It was dubbed "Bums". But in a Lindenberg baby fashion, it disappeared during a routine hole inspection, my buddy and I were driving along, minding our owns and ends and I was looking for holes in Bums, when *BAM!!! Eric just rear-ends some old guy infront of us. I'm like what the fuck, and I swear I put it in back in my pocket, later we searched the car, no where to be found. I must have flung it out the window in a quick panic, Bums was to never be found . . .

the first bag i've named, was called roberto carlos, after the famous
brazilian football player...he was good at kicking, and that bag was
good at being kicked so i named it after him...but that was in a dark
and ignorant world, where there was only circle kicking, and no freestyle yet.
my first good freestyle bag was made by leuch from paris and it
was love at first sight, immediately when i saw it, i yelled "Claire"
and that name stuck.
The next one i get ( hopefully tomorrow !) will also be named intutivly,
if at all...it kinda depends on behavior and performance...i'm very
german in that respect, you know.

Nah, I sat down and talked to someone. When I got up I think I left it behind.
Oh well.
Some kid probably found it and is shredding with it. There were tons of hacky sackers up there, I should have shown them the way. That can save the native people of North America! They should drop their gas bags and pick up footbags!
