marker works, but you might have to redo it a few times because it fades.

I know that Justin Dale has black Lavers, but I don't think he kicks in them. I'mnot to sure on how you could modify them, because I think they are made of leather.

Justin has some black canvas Lavers. He doesn't kick with them right now because he says the mods aren't done.

I'm pretty sure he just Sharpie's his up, judging by how faded they are.

Leather mods involve cutting the outer leather off to leave a thin cloth underneath.

I have black lavers with green laces and the green Rod Laver design look (dyed the White/green lavers black).

How I did it first was I used Rit Dye. Applied it on by rubbing it on with a rag, this wasn't a very good idea because it kept rubbing off. Then I switched over to Black India Ink (stuff you can buy at like Michaels or any art place) and just dyed them that way. Now, the dye isn't very perminant, in fact, it'll rub off, so you gotta spray something over it like water proofing or fixitiv (again you can find this at Michaels, orginally, it's used to help prevent your drawings to smear) it works very well though, I'd say spray 2-3 coats. Your shoes will be a little stiff afterwards, but if you just walk around in them like all the time, they should loosen up.

I have the black canvas/twill material lavers. got them on ebay from that chewbacca dude. Modded them like mesh lavers, removed the inside layer, I'm very happy with them.

What do you mean with that? Hood's shoes? I'm pretty sure they are real Lavers, they're just modded (tubing-mod).

I'm pretty sure if you play alot on asphalt and don't wash your bags often, your white lavers will turn dark after a few months of playing, so maybe try that.
