Missing Montreal

I've been watching many online footbag video's lately, some of which are from Worlds in Montreal. Watching those video's definately brings back great memories of being there. It was during watching these video's that I came to the conclusion that Worlds was by far the best time that I've ever had in my life, the most memorable and one of the most important to me.

It was amazing to be around a massive group of friends for the entire week. It was insane to see lavers everywhere you go, and to be able to just walk around and find shred circles. It was also nice to be shredding in public and have people watching in admiration and wonder instead of thinking "what the hell are those kids doing?" It was a haven that I felt so comfortable being in. It was such a good experience.

Thank you to all of the people who made it possible (IFPA staff/members, event organizers, sponsors, competitors), all of the people that I've met and made friends with, the many people who gave me tips and tried to help me improve my game, and of course all of the bouncers at the various bars and clubs that didn't ask for my ID pretty much the whole time I was there

Chris, I just dove into a pile of Dexter World's footage that has never been seen and there is a great shot of you and I warming up on day two at la Place Des Arts from 6 stories up and across the street.

Watching that footage was such a different experience than being there. Since that time I have gotten to know way more people in the footbag world and the faces are alot more familiar. It was cool to recognize so many modified people while watching the footage!

Thank you everyone who was there! it was such an incredible time!

Yeah, there were SOO many people there. I didn't hang out with so many people.

I remember meeting you as you were leaving the metro though Nick. And I was like, "Yo I'm Kevin." "Nick."

I think that was about it.

Though I did get the group of us to laugh at the "De Bleury" sign.
