So, I have a buyer for a bag of mine. Problem: I dont know what to charge him for it. Any suggestions on a fair price for both parties?
Also, it is possible I will have some time to stitch footbags over the christmas break. Of course,I'd not slave over the needle, but I might make 2 or three more. Who knows . . .

I think a fair price for a hand-stitched bag is $15/hour plus materials+shipping. I don't see that option on your poll.
People should be prepared to pay a lot for a good bag, I want it to be worthwhile for a stitcher to make bags. If you already make $12 an hour at a job you enjoy, why make $10 or less an hour doing something tedious?

When I decided to order a size medium bag from you I had no idea what to expect. What I got was the best bag I have ever kicked with, and numerous other players that tried it have said the same.
While I don't know how long it takes you to stitch a bag, I think that you should be able to charge $35 or more. I beleive I payed you $20 when I bought the bag, and quite honestly I would have gladly payed much more for the product I received.
Keep up the excellent work, and don't sell yourself short. If people don't want to pay that much for a footbag, they can always get a cheap foreign made product which will never come close to a hand made Jeremy Mirken footbag.

Considering the time and effort it takes to make a bag - I voted for $40 but if you wanted to charge more than that I think it would be fine. I said it takes about 2-3 hours to make a bag + materials + postage. So you are still working pretty cheap - like $13 an hour.
I've never played with a broken in bag of yours - but have handled a new one and I think they are definitly very good bags and well worth the money.

Along with paying an hourly wage, you are also paying someone to do something that most people don't have the skills for.
Anyone can start pumping gas, and they get payed because they are a body that shows up to do the work. Not everyone can just sit down for 3 hours and stitch a 32 panel footbag. It's tough! I've tried making footbags, but in the end they come out more like squares than spheres.
If it were something I could just spend a few hours out of my day and make, then I wouldn't be willing to pay much for someone else to do it. However it isn't something I can easily do, so I am paying Jeremy not just for the hours he is making the bag, but for the time and practice he has put in to make such a good quality footbag

I heard you're one of the master stitchers....look at what richie charges, carol, felix and whatnot. find a comfortable median...I don't want to cange your minde because I do not control you at all however, I will reccomend between 30 and 35 at the most. If your bags are becoming more and more requested, I suggest you crank up the price A BIT not more than 5 bucks.......I mean, if there's a lot of people willing to pay 30 to 35 for your bags, then I sure as hell won't mind if I paid an extra 2 or 3 than three months before....
