It was a joy indeed to see Bjoern going for long runs again :D

Bea was also doing some good strings including stuff like plo
bsos, magellan bsos, parkwalk, dimwalk, shmoe, osis...its a shame
really, that she doesnt post on modified, cause i have no difficulty
remembering other peoples moves, but i fail horribly at memorizing
runs ( my own aswell  )

Today it was quite hard for me ; my legs were still mad heavy from
our 5 hour shred on saturday and i also found it hard to concentrate.
I'm inclined to be a little over zealous anyway, but when i wanna
accomplish stuff with out all my faculties intact, it gets even worse...
Lacking the energy for big moves and lacking endurance plus concen-
tration for long strings, i drilled between runs to take on my major
enemies : flip clipper and pixie stuff.
All my stubborness kinda paid off, so i doubt that i ever get rid of it...

results : weaving toe stall; plo>plo; flip smear( felt great, needs work )
2 dimwalks; pixie heelstall and clip>gyro toe again
two new combos : pixie same clip> pdx mirage and plo>smear

Todays shortcommings thaught me not to push my self so hard every time;
i'll try to take things a little easier, continue to practice the basics on both
sides and let things just happen when they wanna happen !
Like that super clean flip butterfly i hit, fully dressed, waiting for my bus

Participants:

Nora from Vienna
Bea
Daryl
Max
Bjoern

I don't remember much, but it was great to have Nora with us.
I hit 6 Magellan's, which is a record, and increased my alternating clipper
record to 31..

Back on the Blog !

Monday was a kool session for sure. It was good that our new man
Philip made his comback and i liked all the smooveness from Nora's
side, her style looked really calm and controlled.
Both, Bjoern and Max had nice runs and tricks going, but i didnt
witness too much of it, since i was busy being at war with myself.
( i'll talk bout that l8er..)

Bea was playing very well i think, and she enjoyed it too;
her runs are getting longer again, and the whole game of hers
is almost perfect on her level, that is .
Like with most girls her way of shredding got a nice, smoove flow to it,
but her game is at the same time also highly energetic and athletic .
Everything she hits and her whole approach to footbag is both
effortless and powerful, and she's proper tiltless every time !
That makes hers so special in my eyes, and i really hope that Bea
can play together with Caro fron Montreal one day .
Bea rules !

Now to something completly different : Bessesenheit, a good and a bad song !
All right, drilling went well at first; 40 toe alt toestalls and a new personal record of 26 alt inside stalls.
But mostly i worked on flipside pixie and clipper related moves ;
flip plo is getting a little more consistent and less effort to bust..
I also hit a couple of flip smears and, shit that felt very nice,
flipside pdx mirages, butterflies and clipper>gyro toe are slowly
improving...
In the circle i starded of with a decent run, but then i completly lost it.
I wasnt sure what to hit, and when i was, things ended after 5 or 6 contacts.
That drove me nuts and spontaneity was getting close to zero, so i went
back to school. Being not the cleverest at times, i worked on illusions and
flip symposium mirage, a )was draining and the latter unsucsessful.
The pain in my legs crept back on me and i began to feel dizzy, so i sat
down, which i hardly ever do in sesions.
Weariness took me and all my energy had left me that moment
so i even thought about going home.
After a little rest and some water, i realized i simply had to take things
a little lighter and i got back in the circle, some times stringing, some times skooling ( i'm a naughty boy, i know...)
And as my fixation subsided, my strings got longer and less boring .
Getting more and more into it, the facination and passion slowly returned
and i hit all of my little tricks, but one ( pixie spinning toe ) that session .

Later on i worked on stuff thats very difficult for me and things got reaaly nice : )pixie heel stall, pixie pincher ( nu ), 8 consecutive flip illusions,
19 alternating leg overs ( old record 8 ), 3 ducking mirages, backside
smear ( skidmark ?) and some ground breaking new shit
pixie illusion !!!, i didnt fucking believe that i'll ever be able to hit that one, it still feels dammn goood !!!
sorry.
but its the biggest thing i ever hit.

To get something good out of my obsession and stubborness is the way forward, 'cause negating those traits of mine wouldnt work at all in the long run.
I always was like that if i'm honest, and as long i put it to good use,
i.e pushing myself, not giving up...ect, i see nothing wrong in it anymore.
as long as i dont exagarate.
Easy on the chronic, i'm just at the beginning of things and i got plenty of time. and great team mates. and a damn nice bag.

Once again it was a wicked session, thanks to all for the good time :D

Thats it, thanks for bearing with me.
Good night,
d-man

I'm out for a while. Twisted my flipside ankle brutally on saturday at a
drum'n'bass party. It's gonna take me a while to walk normally again,
and so I'll be starting the physio therapy asap.

Can't wait to hear your progress though!

Count me in Paul !
Havent been to the city of bears yet anyway
(my bad, i know...), so i 'm hella interested
in going there...
Before we had our usual sunday roleplay gathering,
i had a quick shred session in my room.
As i promised myself, i tuned my madness down
a bit and didnt play from monday till now, for
recovering reasons mainly. I'm getting closer
to a new stage of my game and any hindering
injuries are not tolerated.
But of course i couldnt resist the call and i messed
around with ducking, clippers and heel stalls and i hit
some nu shit : first flip heel stall, flipside xbd heelstall
and some kind of a tapping heelstall which i liked loads :D
See ya tomorrow.

Hey Verena !
Leider kann ich nicht nach wien fahren, die rundumerneuerung
von meinem pc verschlingt all meine ersparnisse : (
Is echt schade, wien is eine meiner lieblingsstädte und ausserdem
war ich für meinen teil noch nie auf einer footbag convention...and
i'd would really appreciate to kick with you...let us know if you ever get
to munich !

Holy cow !
Probably i was so excited by Ms Lenneis request,
that i almost forgot to report on our moday session !

Anyway it was very fun, especially at the end of our shred,
when everybody was warmed up and even hotter in runs :D

A friend of mine, the proud gondorian knight in our frp group
joined in for a try out.
He increased the number of munich footbag ascociates that are
called Phillip up to 3, and to make things easier, i'll refer to
him as Angrod form now on.
The two Hunters, Max and Bea came to the gym aswell of course,
Bjoern was missing unfortunatly.

Drillin' 'ard !
...Bea and me worked on ducking stuff, and both of us hit ducking
clipper for the first time that day, i hit them only on one side though.
Later on i landed ducking mirage again, Bea hit her first ducking butters.
Pixie ducking was working quite nicely, havent been that close to assasin ever, but pixie>any dex was surprisingly shady.
My right lower leg was still a bit tense, so was kindly forced to use my
flip a bit more, and now after this shred, i will have to do even more so.

Stamina and concentration, siamese twins, if you ask me, are slowly
growing : 56 alt. toe stalls, 25 alt. legover, clip> f.legover rpt
3 times on my flip, and clip>f.legover>legover rpt twice.
When Max and me skooled mirage /smear rpt and symp.mirage>plo,
Bea busted 2 smears each side midstring 8O
Angrod worked on alt. toe stalls( 9 as his top score ), atws and mirages,
once he hit atw(in/out) to atw(out/in) in one run. Keep going !
Mr Hunter has to get back on modified and post for himself  .

Drilling took ages, but at the end we all had some decent runs, and Max
filmed some of it, i guess.
Finally even my little runs are getting longer, and in one i hit ducking
clip>mirage, plo and smear midstring( i just hope, its on tape, other
wise i'm in trouble...)
Overall, it was a good session; flipside drilling is the way forward, longer
runs are requested, my game its on its way...: )
i hit another new trick, btw : pixie ducking clipper ! twice ! :D
but only sealed them to hand catch, only on one side

Oh, and some other good news ! Some kind of holy man gave
his clima cool 1's to me as a gift ! Just like that, and they feel great,
different from the clima cool 3 i bought in a fit, without
properly trying them before.
Those were actually disapointing ; too high, too bulky simply too
aaargh, dont even wanna say it.
The clima 1 are shock absorbing and air active,
and, believe it or not, they re lighter than lavers !
Now i can begin to imagine, why some peeps like em so much,
i mod them and check out how they behave, when shredding
with them.

No one seems to post in 'ere at the moment...
Max cant right now, having no access to the internet
he's in the middle of moving from one place to the next
( cool house btw, with a shred room and all...)
and bjoern is down and out for a bit : (

And me ? this is the longest time i havent played since
i started, and its terrible.
Taking a bit of a time out since our last session, due
to shinsplints and a weird soreness in my right lower leg,
i really looked forward to shred on monday.
But i couldnt come, i was helping my mom to move, it
took ages, there was a crazy traffic jam on the way back
into munich, plus i had to get home to grab my gear.
Couldnt get there in time though, cuz my bus was 40 min late,
and ended up in another traffic jam, when it finally came.
It wasnt a day for moving around fast, i guess...man i#m
pissed as hell...and only tales about what happened might
light up my mood a bit.
But taking the good with the bad, my legs are fine now,
my new climas are washed clean, new bags are on there way
and i got a lotta fresh ideas on how i should play.
Hopefully i can post some shred news by tomorrow nite...
good night, gang !

Tonite i was finally able to shred again.
It was an intense one hr session in my
hallway, where its cold and musicless.
But fuck that, this one rocked !!!
4 nu 4adds, and they didnt exist in my book yet !

I could eventually try out my new eqippment,
clima cool originals and a new bag form Leuch.
The bag is a little bigger and much lighter than Claire,
its colors are black and green, and its the nicest bag
i ever played with ! ( Yep, even better then C...naw, i cant say it !)

hit : heelstall>op heelstall, xbd heelstall on both sides ( since i couldnt
find any names for xbd heel related moves, i'll make up names as
i go along...
ducking xdb heelstall
butterfly, bailed to xbd heel, instead of clipper !)
clip>spin [bod]>op healer(xbd;uns;del], like osis, but into
xbd heel delay...OASIS :D i think i invented a nu move here...
pixie op xbd heel...that feels good too, very graceful...
flip symp mirage...finally...and its one of those, when you got
it once, its very unlikly to ever loose it again...relief and a feeling
of welcome.
footed : pixie illusioning xbd heelstall and pixie ducking xbd heel
close to : eggbeater and whirl

edit : sorry, i got carried away a little, but all that stuff felt so
awesome  i luv footbag, i just l...,mm u get it...

Tomorrow i have an xmas shred with my mom. for rilla !
Cant wait to see where this is going :D
Bye

Yo Daryl, so cool you had the bags for Xmas!! That's crazy, it takes only 2 days to go to your home!!
For the weight of the bag, it is very easy, you just have to put a straw between two Hexes (the green), and then you can put anything you want. You can use the filler of an other bag, or alittle of Claire's lead... Btw, the new one still have no name??
Props for all those news moves... you seem to like heels pretty much.. Go for Whirls (which is really not difficult (just have to start the dex as soon as possible) and eggbeatters (still can't do it neither..)
Merry Xmas to you and all Munich footbaggers..
I'll be in Berlin next week!!

XMAS-SHRED 24.12. jebus help me :D
It was such a beautiful day : my moms nu place is very nice now,
she's an absolute genius, when it comes down on atmosphere,
decorating and furnituring. While she prepared a delicious xmas
dinner, i helped out moving heavy stuff around and then it was time
to show mommy some moves
After a little show off, i went back to skool : toe>ins ( 13  ),
clip>f.legover (flip), butterfly (flip), clippers and symposium mirages on both sides.
In between, i experimented wildly with ducking/weaving and diving/zulu
stuff.
I can proudly say that i can do all of them on both sides, almost
on command now, but only to toe. Nothing big, but a good start.
Some of that stuff i can do into clipper, but not all variations on all sides.
Results :
zulu clipper, diving clipper, weaving toe>legover rpt 2times, symposium
mirage bsos ( worked my ass of on symp. mir>legover rpt...)

JEBUS IS NOW 2004 YEARS AND ONE DAY OLD SHRED :
According to my new schedule it wasnt really saturday,
but set and new move day, and i finally activated my flip pixie,
at least thats what i believe : 30min of shred and 14 ! flip smears !
thats about 5 times as many smears in one session then i've hit in 4months playing freestyle ! I was damm close to bsos smear, when
i drilled smear>l.over>smear and so on, but no matter on what side i started, i wasnt man enuff to land the final toe stall 8O
As for new tricks, i hit flip diving/zulu clipper, i'm reall not sure which...
and i hit WHIRL ! toe whirl, that is, three times, clean, me...WHIRL=JOY
unfuckingbelievible.

Charles, that w. was for you...the new bag isnt too light, its just right,
dont worry, but thanx for the straw tip anyway...when are you in B. ?
And yeah, the new bags have names now, mine is called Felize and
the blck/yellow one my girl has, is called Willi after a cartoon character,
a bee, naturally.
Note : a lotta moves look better on my flipside 8O and i kinda stick to my vow to learn all moves first on that side, helps a great deal improving fast.
Love and Happiness to all !
PEACE
