It depends how long you wait. If you wait until it feels better, and play, you'll probably have some discomfort here and there for awhile, if not a recurrence of the injury.

If you wait until it's better, and then wait another week or two (I know, it's hard), you'd probably be a LOT better off. I think two additional weeks off is the better option regardless.

Today I was sitting on a ladder and it fell and landed on my toes (I was barefoot). My thoughts imediatly went to footbag. I was thinking "Oh shit. What if i broke my toes. I cant play." But after a few minutes all feeling came back. So I worried for nothing. But i thought about this thread and was just thinking how bad it must be to be injured when you love the sport so much. Get well Chris and everyone else thats hurt.

Wierdest thing ever happened this weekend. The entire weekend my knee was in the same rough shape. Hurt to walk places, walked at about half the speed of normal, etc. etc. etc. For some reason Sunday night it felt sooo much better. First I thought it might of been because I smoked a J with a couple friends, and I just wasn't noticing the pain or anything. Then I woke up and still no pain! It feels 90% better already. I think I can play footbag within the next few days, but I'm still going to take some extra time off to be safe like you suggested Kevin.

Wierd how things happen like that.

My knee is feeling a lot better, and I think in a week I'll be able to shred a tiny bit. I found out that I have Osgood-Schlatter disease though, which kind of sucks. It's nothing that bad or anything. Has to do with my knees. Do a quick search on Google if you want to know more about it. I'm sure it won't get in the way of footbag that much though.
