Yes as long I can think

I am stuttering and this will never change.
When I was a child it was worse than now. Moreover I was not able to pronounce the r in the right manner.
I was in classes for that to 4th Grade - they work on my R but not on my stuttering.
It was useless!
I learnt the R myself - yeah!!!
It was really easy , at work ( newspaper delivering) I always told one sentence to me :
Roller roller rat tat tat
wenn Peter einen Roller hat
dann rollt er
durch die ganze Stadt!

So the problem with my R was solved.

Stuttering is very difficult to solve or even to reduce it .
Nowadays after 20 sessions at an professional Logopäde during my Army duty I got some sort of breathing method to get the stuttering attacks under control more or less.

Are you working with stuttering people , senor grommet?

1. I didn't make a poll for this b/c you dont have the option for a poll in the kicking circle.

2. I have worked with people who stutter in my graduate training program- two adult stutterers, no kids yet.

3. I just finished a grad level class on stuttering and treatments for adults and kids who stutter. I found it very interesting and so I wanted to know if/ how many people from here had this problem, thinking I might be able to help.

4. If you are interested DoctorJay, I can send you a treatment article for adults with stuttering that has been proven to reduce stuttering to practically near-zero levels. You might find it interesting.

I don't know why polls are turned off - maybe something that happened before Bradmin? Anyway if you want a poll on this topic or any other - pm a mod and I'm sure they'll be happy to make the poll for you.
