First time(s) on Video:

Post by brian relly »

Chris Holden filmed some stuff of me in the last couple days, and I finally bought an IFPA account, so I'm here to present it all of you. Since, you know, I've never been seen on video.

Anyway, it's nothing too special, just some average stuff. I know I can do better, but this was all I managed to hit on video.

Enjoy.

Edit: Oh, and feedback. I totally love feedback. Feel free to leave some.

sick stuff. i really like your style. you should try to combine the set and spot on your spins more, that might help.

You're stylish Stephen! I like your crispness and confidence. (super solid osii)

The shorts are flashy and dramatic too. It's good to see you dance with the sack finally!

What do you mean by this?

Nils, I've been playing for about a year and a half.

Because they are flashy and dramatic compared to mine. I wear a smaller less swingy short, my short short-shorts, and I found that I 'saw' your shorts alot.

It looked cool, kinda penske-esque.

Yeah, I really love your style, too, Stephen! It is SOO smooth and controlled. Your pixie paradon was soo nice and the bothsidedness was GREAT! I really can't wait to see more. How can you be so controlled after a year and a half? It is really deceiving and makes me think that all those runs and moves are simple as cake for you. Keep it up!

Nice video Stephen!

Only thing I have to say is some advice. Your shred 30 was good, except that you dropped the bag onto your toe a couple times after drops. This can really kill your score, so you should definitely try to always drop the bag into a butterfly after a drop, or at least into a mirage or something else that goes to toe if you really want the bag on your toe.

Just thought I'd let you know in case you don't ...

Thanks guys.

Yeah, I didn't learn until afterward that any non-guiltless contact counts as a 0-add in the score, so I'll be sure to drop into butterfly from now on...
