of course the worst possible chain bag is on world footbag. That thing looks like it would not give a bit. It actually looks like a metal ball, and i doubt you could kick or stall it. Other chain bags actually sit and stall, this one will not.

dont waste your money, or get a chain bag that will perform better.

Yeah I have to agree Henry...but it does look pretty bitchen...
I wouldnt mind just having it to put on my dresser and then when someone comes in my room I would show it off and be like, "Hey, do you know what that is? No...well I do and Im not telling you."

Yeah, it's from WFA but it's the only place I actually saw a chain bag. If I know other places, you think I would have gotten it from WFA? Hell, no! I would hav chosen the other place! Sadly, there's no other place. I'll just save money for two chain bags and buy an Abshire or Carol or something...... I already have 2 of Richie's it won't hurt to get another one.

I like how it says it's magnetic. Does that mean you need to stick a magnet in your shoe to stall? Basically, it's a big ball of metal that they decided to call a footbag. Tsk tsk...

That's what's so weird about this bag..........I was wondering about the magnetic properties of the bag that they mentioned..........I guess it's in the middle of the bag? to keep the metal from falling apart? Because it's a crappily engineered bag? I don't know?

I think that how it looks is its best feature though. If you really want one go check out ebay. They look like they have better handiwork.

Ill just stick to the regular sacks.

Your poll needs more options. I used to own a cool chain-mail bag, and used it numerous times.

In my opinion, they are pretty poor for freestyling with, depending on how high your standards are. When using them with Lavers, they slide on the nylon mesh very easily. Its like the roll-off problem with round bags, except its slip-off instead because the metal is smooth, and the nylon mesh is kind of smooth too.

Furthermore, them things is heavy and hard. If you are kicking them in modified Lavers or similarly un-padded footwear, they can get to hurting your feet after a little while. I mean, think how your feet would feel if you went hacking in bare feet with a rock. Its not quite so bad, but not something you want to spend alot of time doing.

However, if you are just kicking it around in a hack circle, wearing your hicking boots or something, well, they're probably okay for that. After a very little while I put my metal bag on my key chain, and there it stayed for a few years until I lost my keys one night. I still miss it a little bit, but only a very little bit.

One positive aspect I can say about that metal bag of mine though: it was pretty good for kicking around in the wind and the rain. Heavy and not "solid", the wind obviously wouldn't push it around at all, and as it was not made of any kind of cloth, it didn't soak up water and play differently when it was wet. And it attached conveniently to my key-chain. Other than that, I can't think of anything good to say about it.

these "heavy metal" footbags look quite stiff, but the ones I've seen on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... eName=WDVW ) look soo much more workable....I dunno I have never tried one, this is just my thoughts on the visual aspect.

Ok, the silver colored ones are cut with a jewelers saw. The colored ones are purchased from a local shop, those are cut with a machine. Thats why "almost" all of them are saw cut.

If I made one out of steel, and you could fit a nice strong magnet in your shoe, it could work. Although if its strong enough to attract the hack, how would you detach it? That would give the trick away really fast

Thats right! They not only look better, they are better! I know, I make them.

Ok, now my spiel on these:

These are really solid. I have made a few of them myself, and they suck for hacking. They work best as juggling balls. They are just sooo stiff that they simply dont work. I personaly call them Atom Balls, and sell them as stress relievers and juggling balls. Out of solid steel they are super!

The guy from World Footbag contacted me some time ago, he was interested in getting some of the ones that I make. After I replied he never contacted me again. I guess he liked these lower quality "things" instead. Go figure.

Yeah, hehe. That was the result of a chalenge from another person on one of the other boards I hang out on. I never expected it to sell, but it still is an interesting concept. But hey, its eBay, if a piece of "holy" toast can go for $28000, almost anything can.

I bought about 5 bags off Brian Goldner on eBay and sold them in Europe for about 20-25 Euro's each.

THEY ROCK! I've actually hit runs of about 20 guiltless with a Chainmail bag.

If you need any more I ship stuff to Europe all the time. I have customers all the way from Finland to Bulgaria. 5 day express shipping on up to 12 normal hacks is just a flat $6. Or normal airmail starts at $3 and goes up from there.

Thats a great profit margin for you. If you buy them at $15-20US and sell them for 20-30 euros. The exchange on the dollar is so low that you can double your money easily...
