13.12.

Today me and Antti had a decent long kick together at the sport hall. Antti didn't have a very good day but my was pretty fresh looking 'cause I hadn't shred at all for a couple of days and had had 8 days withouth a real session.

Antti hit one new move, but I'm not telling what it is. You'll se it in the vid what's coming up soon.

I think I didn't hit any new tricks, but my runs were OK.
I also hit my first 3dex combos (check the topic I started):
Janiwalker > Blurriest - other side was soooo close
Dimmiest > Blurriest - both sides

We filmed and got loads of stuff. Too bad Felix didn't come.

Yeah! I was in Helsinki for 28th and 29th day. Cool time. I shredded something like 11 hours during those two days.

Some new stuff:
Diving Bubba BSOS both sides first tries ever
Pdx DLO BSOS and Pdx Eggbeater BSOS in the same run.
DLO > Legbeater > rpt
Witchdoctor BS
Spanishfly b2b
...that's all I can remember.

I had a good time in Helsinki thanks to all the folks who were with me. Speacial thanks to Miika Valle in whose house I slept the night.

30.12.

Somehow the 11 hours that I played on the last two days in Helsinki weren't enough - so I played today 2 and ½ hours alone at Kupittaa's Sporthall
I asked Antti to join me, but he didn't... Lazy ass.

My feet were already killing me, but I just had to play. Doing sets like stepping and atomic hurt - even pixie felt too massive. So I played mainly without sets.

I hit Spinning Spanishfly both sides. They felt smooth.
also these drills:
Barfly > Scorppion's Tail > rpt
Pdx Whirl > Spinning Whirl > rpt
and Spanishfly b2b with other side than yesterday.

This was my last session of this year. I was thinking some goals for the rest of the winter season. Here is some of them - just lamely tricks and drills..:
- Xanabox drill (yeah, still...) on video
- Barfly > DDD > Barrage > DSO > Terrage > Paradon rpt
- Barfly > Spinning Whirl > Scorp > rpt
- Nemesis BS
- Venom BS
- Cold Fusion BS
- Spanishfly x4
- Toe Blizzard x4

That should keep me busy for the next (about) 4 months.

17.1.

For the last couple of months my playing has been killing my left leg, 'cause my left Laver has a BIG hole and that causes a lot of troubles with toes, balance etc. :(
I ordered new Lavers before christmas and TODAY I got a message from the Post that my new Lavers have arrived to the customs of Turku - why there, no idea, but my mom is going to pick them up soonish. :)

I haven't played for 6 days! 8O Just because those Lavers I have now are so fucked up and so will be leg be if I shred in them...

I'm like... shaking at the moment! NEW LAVERS!! w00t!! 8O

And like Mosher wrote in his blog - He stitched a bag to me! And mailed it already!! Wheee - I'm going to have a Tom Mosher bag!! :D
Tom is so awesome guy, I just had to pay the posting fees wich were like 3 euros (which is nothing!) :P

I'll have a kick with my brand new Lavers this evening... I hope.
Maybe Felix will join too, I haven't seen him in... like a month 8O

[EDIT:] OH SHIT!! My Lavers got 24 Euros custom fees! My wallet will be dead!
Oh wait... I got them as a christmas present from my parents, so they will have to pay the custom fees too  MWHAHAA!!

In half an hour I'll be modding them... 8O Whuuu... I can't wait!!

I'll post more this evening/tomorrow after kicking in them!!! :P

[EDIT2:] I just modded the toes of my Lavers - for the first time of my life 8O uuu - I'm in heaven...
I hadd no idea how to do it, but I took scissors and tried to cut some shit of from somewhere I thought it should... that didn't work so I took a knife and raged. Now they look good, when I tied them :)
Oh, how handsome can man be in bright new Lavers? All I'm doing now is stand in front of a whole-body-mirror wearing them... :P AND WAITING FOR FELIX TO TURN ON HIS MOBILE PHONE, GOD DAMN!! I WANT TO SHRED AND SHOW MY NEW LAVERS TO HIM!!

Mmmm... new Lavers...

New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers New Lavers!!

New Lavers!

[EDIT3:] There are 15 smiles in this post... And I have new Lavers!! (just in case you haven't noticed yet...)

Sooo... I got Felix on the phone at Tuesday and we went to shred. Felix has now shin splits after his SF trip and his left knee is fucked, so he couldn't bust huge. Me and my new lavers weren't also co-operating very well yet, so my game level was also lower than normaly.
We mostly chatted, Felix told about his trip and I the newest footbag gossips in Finland :P

That's about it... nothing worth of mentioning was hit. (In fact if something was, I don't remember it anymore).

20.1.

Yesterday I modded the insides my Lavers and also Brocka mod for the first time!
Today I wanted to test my fully modded Lavers and Antti joined me.

The brocka mods felt weird first but I got used to them. The insides were great, but I had kinda no touch with my clippers - especially Osii - at first.

We were busting big and I'm tired now so no stories, just a raw list.

[note: if suffer from heart problems, we do not recommend reading any further]

Antti:
Tapdown - BS
Magellan - flip
Atomsmasher - flip
Swirl - strong
Butterfly Swirl - strong
Butterfly > Pdx Mirage > rpt

Anssi:
Zulu Torque - BS (not really hard, while I have hit Ducking Torque like almost a half year ago)
Infinity Swirl - BS
Shaft - BS
Venom - BS
Janiwalker > Blurriest with other side than before
Blurriest b2b - BS

Tha's it folks. I think. Might have forgot something what Antti hit, but so be it.
On next session I'll try to hit a world record for Spanishflys. Or at least skool them more. --- Spanishfly > Scorpion's Tail > rpt would be nice too...

GOooo Anssi!

That stuff is so impressive!!

I was just thinking about that bag I sent you. It is going to be way too light for good shred I think. Also, the material is regular panne, I havn't used a bag with that yet.

At the very least it is a cute footbag to have in your collection.

Also, maybe one day you will have one of my "amazing" 32's!

Hey thanks guys!

Tom, don't worry about hte bag being too light. Felix or Antti can fill it if it really isn't shredable. The bag should arrive on monday! - I hope :)
Say a trick or a combo (not impossible) and I'll hit that for camera with your bag and show it to you!!! How about Nemesis? 8)
Hey I can buy one of your 32's at least at Worlds!! --- Oh, wait... I will buy one of your 32's at least at Worlds...
Reserve one for me!

I'll propably have my next session on Sunday... tomorrow isn't impossible also... Felix said that he will rest over the weekend. Maybe Antti will join me.

HOLY COW, I just got my Mosher Bag from the mail 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

It's kinda small, but that's not bad. It's also light

Panels: 4
Colors: Turqoise and dark red
Weight: 32 grams (a bit too light)
the filling feels kinda weird - only aquarium rocks - but I just have to get used to it. I'm sure it doesn't bother while shredding.

I'm so excited about shredding with this!!!! 8O

Hmm... Well me and Antti tried to go to play today :? We were at one party yesterday so even that time was 5 pm the game wasn't going very good... We were like one hour at the session and playd for like 30 minutes active...
But I did play with my new Mosher Bag. It's a decent bag, need just weight and it'll be good.

So, me and Antti made a deal that we never play at hangover days from now on. - Exept at some happenings like Worlds!

28.1.

I'm sick... been now for a couple of days. If last saturdays small session isn't counted I shredded last time 8 days ago 8O

This blows!! New lavers haven't even broken in properly yet and I'm suffering from flue!!

And it even makes things worse that the Russian freestyle champion is Turku and I haven't even seen him yet!!!
Felix was having a session with him yesterday and I think that today too. I hope I have a chance too.

And our exam weeks are starting next week so all I can do is read, because I have left studying too far behind lately.

Could thing be worse?

Well... I am an optimist and find one positive thing: my legs will heal now that I'm forced to rest them.
But also my psychical strenght will go down while only sitting at home...

damn... :(

put weight in it and kick it while warming up then shred with 32's. In a while it will get fun for shred.

Hey, maybe you'll have a mosher2^4, they are coming out well!

5.2.

I was playing YESTERDAY with Felix. I was supposed to have a solo session after a big break (again) but Felix joined me after I had been playing about 1½ hours. So totaly I played 4 hours :?

It looked like a good Furious day for both of us.
Sick stuff was hit and insane attempted. But we had to leave something for the next session as well :P

I hit Nemesis a couple of times... BS if I remember right, but a couple of times I was so stoked that I didn't seal it and all the ones I hit were unclean.

Felix hit Nemesis like at least 10 times and I think I saw about 4 absolute clean ones.
And Felix hit five times Genesis > run - in a row, I just had my turn between them. Crazy.

Then I was like "Try that Furious Drifter which I saw you trying about two months ago." And he's like "ok" and hits it with first try.
I don't usually drop my jaws when I see him hitting something big but this time I did. It was just like a normal Pdx Drifter - just the was a Barraging set before it. It's one of the smoothest and easiest looking execution of a trick I've ever seen.
So I had to give him props for it :P

Then like 5 minutes later Felix hits without warning Barraging Whirl first attempt. It looked so easy that I didn't dare to give him props. It's soooo irritating that he makes everything look easy...

Then I hit clean Nemesis attempts with both sides in a row where I just dropped the clipper. ARGH!!

Felix hit these so crazy combos before runs... I just can't remember them...
Genesis > PS Whirl > Spinning Clipper > Swirl > Pdx Eggbeater > run was one...

I hit both Whirlwinds! w00t! About time.
Superduperfly was on foot.

I want to hit a Beast... :D Alpine Dimmiest > Maelstrom > Marius would be cool.
lol
maybe I'll try to hit longer fearless combos before a beast...

Oh, I hit Pdx Torque x4 - I could hit them more. 10 is my goal now
4 should be Finlands record Felix said.
And I hit Torque > Pdx Torque > rpt with first try of the day. That drill feels so awesome.
I tried also Pdx Drifter > Pdx Torque > rpt, but just couldn't hit the last trick either side... I think I'll make it start with Pdx Torque so it's harder

We were shredding at the sports hall and just before we left there was about to start a running tournament or something. Some young boys came to look our game. So we had to stop attempting all the big tricks and hit some strings.
I had longer strings than usually. But Felix owns all the shows, he can do the best crowd pleasers and go long when public. The boys clapped evertime we dropped and passed. Cute.

Hmm... that's about it. Sorry that I can't remember all the stuff :D Such a crazy day...

[EDIT:] All the edits used to correct grammatical errors. And just for Kevin Regamey
