Drill names
Drill names
There are tons of drills with names, most know is propably Rubberman. Does anyone know how the drills get their names and is there a story behind that? It would be nice hearing them.
Also, now that both sideness and naming new tricks is so hot subject, don't you think hitting and naming new drills would be cool too?

I don't get that excited by drills. Infact unless the moves in general are really impressive they are a little boring. I drill all the time. My latest drills is clip set dlo>smear>dlo>parkwalk repeat - like over and over. I don't even know why I do it - I am really good at all the moves anyway. It's the "waste of time" drill.
Yeah that could be true - but I don't drill that one so often so I don't think I can name ithabitat wrote:Is it? or is staying up until 6:00 am, not even shredding a "waste of time"Jeremy wrote:My latest drills is clip set dlo>smear>dlo>parkwalk repeat

Wait no that wasn't a waste of time - you got your video up, I spent hours talking to Theika, and made some drunken posts on modified - that's all constructive.
I wonder if some names have anything behind them. Some of those are like so lame and some halfly impossible.quadgun wrote:I don't know any stories dehind the names of the drills, but here's a drills list.

What are you talking about Anssi???
Same butterfly > Osis (rpt) is totally godlike!!!
HAHAHA
I do think that a lot of those names are ridiculous. The only ones that seem to be big are the "BAP, rubberman, blubberman, rubberman2" Those seem to be the ones that everyone know and therefore, I think, should have been the only ones that should have names...but on the flipside, we have move names for just about everything.
O well, it all gets too confusing to remember the combo names as well. I just, well, don't remember them.
